What changes would you make to certain Gundam series?

I can see that, but again a LOT Of people are going to make comparisons to Beerfest, and if your story is trying to be taken seriously it shouldn't be constantly compared with a spoof (sorta like how SPECTRE played a joke from Austin Powers completely seriously)

Plot Armor and Replacement Twins are a story trope that can kind of get silly is overused or implemented poorly. Plot Armor is a paticularly big case of this, even in Gundam. For example Gundam Wing had the characters(especially Heero) be nigh indestructable. Plus a Leo suit was total cannon fodder, Unless a named character was piloting it, then it too became indestructible. Also Seed Destiny totally overused plot armor on popular characters (several times the MS was destroyed in an explosion and the pilot's show up later with a few bandages). It's not like Gundams never used story tropes like this before, it's more how they implement them.
