Crunchyroll and Funimation Part 2

So do you think the merger means that everything that is available on Funimation will be moved over to Crunchyroll? Or will they just choose the series that are the most popular/profitable?

Re: Crunchyroll and Funimation Part 2

You do realize this is answered in the FAQ published on both the Funimation and Crunchyroll websites, right? And on ANN? And a hundred other news sites? Seriously...

Content from the Funimation and Wakanim streaming libraries will be gradually migrated over to Crunchyroll in phases over the coming months until all streaming content has been consolidated under the Crunchyroll banner. Currently the migration process has moved approximately 120 titles to the Crunchyroll library (https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/ ... runchyroll) as of Tuesday, March 8th.

Beginning from the Spring 2022 season, all newly-licensed shows will be added only to Crunchyroll and all simulcasts will be done via Crunchyroll only, with the libraries on Funimation and Wakanim only updating for ongoing shows while the migration is in progress.
