Due to the size of the Char Custom thread and the need to enforce some new rules, I'm starting a new thread, the Mark IV.

As promise a little disruption is needed.

Now, a couple of things about posting articles:

1. Gundamn has been around for five years, you know what we talk about, so post accordingly (If we haven’t talked about something similar in a previous episode/segment, it’s probably not going to make the cut).

2. When posting your article, please give a brief description of the article and provide a hyperlink to that article.

3. Please view other posts to make sure that you are not duplicating each other’s submissions.

4. Please no articles in a foreign language, if I can’t read it to verify it, it’s getting tossed.

5. Please follow the “Sir Bay News Alert” format for all articles about Sir Bay.

6. Finally, posting an article does not guarantee selection, if the article is not show-related or relevant, it’s getting tossed.

Pacific Rim Sequel Now Likely After Record-Breaking China Wednesday Opening of $9 Million
Grosses are currently at $84.5 million in America, and $149 million Worldwide (accounting for the China debut), totaling about $235 million. If the international enthusiasm continues in China, Japan and others yet to release the film, it could hit a number ($325-$400 mill??) that Lionsgate and Warner Bros needs to see to recoup production, marketing, and other costs to warrant taking another risk at a sequel. Nothing is confirmed, but a sequel isn't dead yet.

No, in fact you're probably one of the reasons Neo has reminded us of the rules. Just because he talked about that movie once in an episode doesn't qualify it as Mecha Anime/Sir Bay/ or a recurring property discussed more than once. Maybe Neo disagrees, but maybe cut down your news posting a little bit dude.
