Voice actor Kiyoshi Kobayashi passed away at age 89. He was most known for the very long running voice of Jigen from Lupin the 3rd franchise, he retired in 2021. He is best known for Jigen, Avdol from 90s Jojo OVAs, Delaz and the narrator from Gundam 0083, Narrator from Gaogaigar TV/FINAL, Gregore from Votoms Roots of Ambition/Last Red Shoulder and Rubinsky from Legend of the Galactic Heroes OVA series.

He was replaced as Jigen in 2021's Lupin the 3rd part 6 by Akio Otsuka who ironically played Anavel Gato, Delaz's right hand man in Gundam 0083. He last played the role of Jigen in Lupin the 3rd part 6 Episode 0 as a send off to him.
