Antares wrote:Yeah I read that but I couldn't quite figure out what they looked like or how they operated since turret in my mind is rather stationary... But if that's what they are, then fair enough. Do they have any particular new attributes that would warrant the "beam turret system" name?

That's what they're called on the Akatsuki. I have no idea really how they're different from DRAGOON's honestly. But that seems to be what Orb uses to identify the tech hence I kept it in theme with what orb considers them to be. It's probably a better question for the tech board since the mobile beam turret system doesn't seem outwardly much different then the DRAGOON system.

Ah OK, I didn't check if the original Akatsuki profile also calls them turrets. Fair enough then, it's just Orb trying to be original. Maybe it's a copyright thing; Morgenroete doesn't want to get sued for using DRAGOONs(tm). :D

pretty cool. You changed the backpack to a cooler thruster assembly, you added more thrusters to the skirt armor, and the overall effect is that the X-virgo is just plain slimmer and more efficient. Well, that and you removed the mega cannon.

Not a big fan of the paint scheme though. Course, white fang has horrible paint schemes anyway...

You're not the only one Zaku, I'm feeling the urge to get back into it too.

...Again, now these are just pleasant surprises.

Retirement, you say? what is this "retirement"? Is it when you simply do what ever the hell you like, and publish the good stuff?

All jokes aside, I like the suit, and the backstory is pretty awesome.

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: I think I'm pulling a Favre....

Very. Nice. Work. More CE love, I can never have enough. A UC name adapted into CE, and the suit looks absolutely beefcake.
Only gripe is that somehow the shield colors don't seem to fit the Gelgoog's own. Maybe that is just my overtly critical aesthetic eye...

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: Oops I did it again?

I really like this one. The torso almost seems out of place, but being an Astray part itself, it manages to work somehow.

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: Oops I did it again?

Very nice! For my fic I jumped forward to M3 Astray (the Astray Enforcer), but I reckon this would've been quite close to what I had in mind. Not Orb colors, obviously, but this is a solid leap forward for Orb tech. I wonder, would they also figure out to make a more durable Murasame without sacrificing the transformation ability?

I don't see why they wouldn't at least try.

Also on a side note: ANOTHER UPDATE!

Re: Red Zaku's Art Gallery: Another new design already? Yep!

whoops fell a bit behind. x.x Just two more...

Also to any of my super angry fans. x.x Don't pick a fight with the dude who claimed I only changed the badging on this gun. As annoying as other a-holes telling me how much work I put into my designs is, I also appreciate keeping a clean comment section free of unnecessary arguing.

This one has fewer comments that should annoy people who enjoy my work, or frankeners in general.

Really like how the cape turned out. Nothing makes a mecha look cooler than a flowing, tattered cape or cloak.
