Since everyone on this board is now at least in our 30s-40s and ancient as all hell, what level are you on Candy Crush?
Seriously/not very seriously, what's everyone playing on your mobile cellular devices to pass the time at work or whatever?

Re: What'cha playing on mobile
Never had much interest in mobile gaming... too much emphasis on microtransactions.
The only game I think I play on mobile on a regular-ish basis is Risk, which is way less hassle than setting up a physical game board and managing all those pieces.
There was one really good puzzle game that I liked that used to be a mobile exclusive. Fireproof Games's The Room series. Those have all been ported to Steam for PC now, though, and the most recent game The Room VR: A Dark Matter a PC and console release instead.

Re: What'cha playing on mobile
The entire gaming industry as a whole seems to be fixated on microtransactions. Even the only semi-ok "current gen" Gundam multiplayer game is a gacha.
Risk is good, but I also got the Axis and Allies downloaded. Good for wasting hours at a time

Re: What'cha playing on mobile
The most suitable game for this board died around May this year, Final Gear.
Girls piloting robots, side scroller, had collaboration with Evangelion, GitS, Sakura Wars.
The sister game(not action but turn based) Artery Gear will also die in about a month.(I haven't played that though)
The one I'm playing is Zenless Zone Zero.
You still have some level of mecha, just much less.
And yes, they are very heavy on micro-transactions, but at least actually spent the money on making the game better and the characters with lots of details.
Even the free characters have so much details and not really weak that you can fully enjoy the game for free.(But I do recommend paying at least a full game price of a regular game or something like an online game's monthly subscription as support.)

Yeah, I can't really hate on microtransactions too heavily. I play a really crappy base building/rts game called Last War that other dudes are spending hundreds on a month just to stay competitive. I mainly use it for the chat function though and somehow became the laziest and underpowered guild leaderMythSearcher wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2024 8:53 pm

They still got those mech warrior rip-off games out there that some youtubers been promoting years ago?
