So how much information is out there about the Transformers Universe(I mean the 80's Animated works)? I was watching the 80s movie; and it seems there are multiple robotic life forms across the universe. Are they all the same species? Are they all from Cyberton?

Oy... now there's a rabbit hole a couple of light years deep.

What I remember from many a year ago was that a lot of the robotic life in the universe was made by the Quintissons, the creepy multifaced things we saw in the first movie. Others were made by the same ancient being who made Unicron.
