Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
I'll just borrow this thread then, I've taken screencaps for the unnamed Ball-equivalent mobile pod and the X-wing fighter in Episode 8. There doesn't seem to be any lineart around, but I think we should archive those.

Sorry, the kanji only says "Alliance Fighter-Attacker" as its name. I'd love to see more scans though...Wingnut wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 12:19 amGot some proper lineart for this particular plane.teslashark wrote: ↑Tue Jun 05, 2018 2:42 pm Flyarrow-like fighter plane:

Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
I just noticed it, but most if not all of our Dragonar profiles contain some mistranslation. Notable, the rate of fire listed as "rounds per second" when the official profile listed as "per minute". Here's example from Dragonar-1
And here's from official site, the erroneous word is bolded.type LPS9 75mm hand railcannon (1,800 rounds per second, uses standard and HE ammunition)
(it also mistranslated hand railgun (ハンドレールガン) as hand railcannon (which would be ハンドレールキャノン), but this isn't as bad).75mmハンドレールガンLPS9型(発射速度:1800発/分、携行弾数:作戦に応じて変更、弾種:鉄甲弾および爆裂弾)

Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
I highly suspect this is "AP or HE" instead of "Ironclad/Ironshell bullet or HE"
AP 徹甲弾: https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%BE%B9 ... 2%E5%BC%BE
If you google 鉄甲弾, you will find that google just gives you 徹甲弾 results.

Dragonar contribution
I finally found a servicable scan of Great Mechanics G 2018 Winter, with all MA from Dragonar. Most of them are larger than the ones from official site that we're using although the quality is up and down. So I don't add ones that we already have 400 px size already except the Geyzam since it has too much of waste space.

Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
I've seen Dragonar a number of times, but when was the https://www.mahq.net/mecha/dragonar/dragonar/xc-3.htm ever used?
I don't even remember seeing this in the show, especially after Dragonar 1 and 2 were upgraded to their custom versions...

Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
I never finished Dragonar but I do recall the first episode pretty clearly where Dragonar-1 giant armored top part gets ejected when he's looking for the beam saber right before the end of the episode.yazi88 wrote: ↑Thu May 27, 2021 2:32 am I've seen Dragonar a number of times, but when was the https://www.mahq.net/mecha/dragonar/dragonar/xc-3.htm ever used?
Perhaps they intended to have a Dragonar-1 Custom version of that support system but never animated it?
Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
You are thinking of https://www.mahq.net/mecha/dragonar/dragonar/xc-00.htm which was used early on.
The one from my post from earlier is https://www.mahq.net/mecha/dragonar/dragonar/xc-3.htm which looks mostly similar but is a different unit, likely a upgraded version.

Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
Japanese Wikipedia Metal Armor article note it (キャバリアーCX-3
D-1カスタム用に試作が検討された追加装備で、レドームの搭載によりD-3の支援なしで長距離戦闘を可能とする。220mmレールガンや、接近戦用の25mm機関砲を装備。) citing Bandai's 1987 1/100 Dragonar-1 Custom kit.
BTW, the Cabarrier is also used by Dreu, but I don't have good image fo that.

Re: Dragonar & Dragoon
A little correction for the Dragonar section...
I was poking through scans of some old Dragonar books and came across some random trivia. The names of the Giganos battleships should be 'Humboldt' and 'Clavius.' They're both named after craters on the Moon.
The same book also romanized the aircraft carrier 'Easyo' as 'Yasyor.' No idea if that's a reference to anything.
