GitS: SAC 2045

This is now on Netflix. Thoughts on those who have seen it?

To me it feels like the first three episodes were where the creators tried really hard to make the audiences understood that the show was not the SAC they remembered. And then everything fell into the usual pace after episode 7.

Also, the CG is not as bad as people says. Feels like it is better than that Obsolete show on Youtube. The music sucks, but that is expected without Yoko Kanno.

CG is not that bad, but its a down grade considering production IG worked on the SAC TV shows and movie before this...

Thankfully this new show still has the same main writer and director involved. So that helps deliver the core experience we are familiar with and make up for the CG style.

There is a recent interview that reveals Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki started brainstorming about this show in the last 5 years, so I guess we could be relatively reassured about the plotline. The first few episodes seem to be more like under the direction of the animators and Netflix, who wanted something to showcase the CG.
