To celebrate the premiere of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin III - Dawn of Rebellion on May 21, Animax has announced the launch of a laboratory, Gundam: The Origin Technology Labo, to attempt to recreate scenes from Gundam: The Origin.

Gundam the Origin Ends Char's Arc With Part IV in Fall, Starts Arc on Battle of Loum in 2017

Screenings of the third episode, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin III: Dawn of Rebellion announced on Saturday that the current Char arc of the anime will end with the fourth episode, Unmei no Zenya (Fateful Eve), this fall. The third episode also revealed that production has been green-lit for a new arc that will cover the Battle of Loum, starting next year.

More Gundam The Origin Planned and Hiroko Moriguchi to Perform EP 4 Theme Song

At the Gundam Live Expo ~Zeon no Seiki~ this past weekend it was announced that EP 4 of Gundam the Origin will conclude the Char and Sayla arc but production has been green-lit for the Loum Arc that will cover the Battle of Loum.

Hiroko Moriguchi who previously had songs featured in F91 and Zeta will perform the EP 4 theme. The episode is titled Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin IV: Unmei no Zenya (Fateful Eve)
