Gundam Mk III? Am... I in a dream?
B-Bandai sempai, you really do listen to my thoughts. All of my money. Just take it.
I said it'd be years before I get a Gundam Mk III in HG scale. Now they are doing an OFFICIAL 1/100th one? And the GP04 which I also just kinda thought would never happen either?
This is AMAZING news though and I'm super happy that we'll have a line for Mobile Suit lovers who love things that are far outside of the shows!

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
Seems like it will be a simple NG 1/100 line so it breaks the barrier of previously having only the MG line to release 1/100 scales which wasn't fit for irregular anatomy MS and MSV MS with very little lineart sources. The last irregular anatomy MG that we got was The O.
I am still waiting for MG Jagd Doga or Geara Zulu since the Geara Doga had its frame named as "Neo Zeon MS frame".
Don't forget designing an inner frame-less Robot Damashii Xi Gundam was much easier than a full inner frame MG one. At least with MG mainstream MS, the knowhow could be reused due to their commonality with other MS(frame design, general structure, transformation etc).
At the same time, I think they're trying to combat Chinese makers who are making their own original model kits, such as the 1/100 Kshatriya.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
Actually, if this is the same line they are supposed to be talking about at the Shizuoka Hobby show, they've claimed "High Detail Appearance" and "Sophisticated Parts Composition." Which makes me think they might be more complex in some ways than an MG, particularly the sophisticated parts composition. However, as for inner frames? Maybe they will forego them, or use some kind of premade frame like the RG line? I dunno. We'll have to see on the 18th.
Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
so we can expect from the R/100 line: Dijeh SR, FA MkIII, MkVI, GP00, Galbadys, etc
Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
Apparently, Derringer said yes, they have no inner frame.
Still the outer detail seems to be focused on looking really nice, so... while I LOVE building inner frames normally, I'm okay with them not having inner frames. Hell, even if the articulation isn't perfect, I rarely put my models into crazy poses anyway (Except the random dancing I made my Zaku II F 2.0 do)

And they're also planning to release MG Hi-Nu ver. Ka. Yes, look at the nightingale picture, and on the right side we can see a Hi-Nu funnels on the big poster. Derringer has confirmed that MG Hi Nu ver Ka will be released on August, while R 1/100 on September. There's also buzz about Bandai announcing PG Unicorn Gundam on this Hobby Show...

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
So all the CCA MGs and MS and character cameos in the Unicorn OVA were all leading up to Beltorchika'a Children manga.
This will be like Glory of the Defeated, where they expand one of the non mainstream continuities.
I still want Kamille instead of Gyunei though.
On the other hand, SD BB Legend 2nd Generation Gundam Daishogun please.

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
Will they do a HGUC Krake Zulu, now they have the shields done. Only missing are the huge shoulders/arms and the huge skirt.

I hope they do, that'd mean a possible Psycommu Zaku on the way.

Honestly, I still think Robot Damashii Hi-Nu still beats all other renditions in existence. I was waiting for a Robot Damashii Nightingale, but maybe it will come out after sales of the 1/100 is confirmed.

Oh, Neo Zeong Expansion Set announced for Bandai Premium release.

Bottom of the page.
Seriously, the Neo Zeong, with propellant tanks removed, its head height is just 30cm, so half of Metroplex and same height as Psycho Gundam.
EDIT: Psycho Shard effect part confirmed for Premium Bandai. There is also HWS expansion set for the Hi-Nu Ver.Ka. announced. Mega Beam Launcher included?

It looks like the MG Hi Nu Gundam may reuse some parts from the Nu Gundam and they have finally fixed up the mounting angle of the shield.
YES, new HGUC Rozen Zulu is in novel version colors, no more super dark purple.

Damn looks like the NG Nightengale only comes with one Beam Saber. Was hoping for 4 so I could post him with the sub-arms deployed (looks like they do in the model)...
Things never to say/ask on MAHQ:
Did Char and Amuro Really die?
I think Wing is better than UC.
Really, are Char and Amuro Dead?
Gundam Seed Destiny was a great show, better than Turn A!
Where can I find Gundam hentai?
Seriously people, did Char and Amuro die or not!?

Re: Upcoming Models, Merch, & Rumors XII
It's about time, I've been waiting for a HG Crossbone ever since the Harrison F91 came out. And while I am happy and grateful I help but be a little disappointed that this is the vanilla X-1 instead of the Kai.Heecarl_Reez wrote:New kits for upcoming months:
