So what con are you going to?

It's the height of convention season, so this seems like a topical question to ask. As for me I'm headin' for Otakon for the sixth time in a row, man it 's been six years already. It'll be me, my cousin, who I converted to anime three years ago and at least three of his friends so we'll be in force as compared to previous years. Best of all, I only live about five miles from the convention center which makes commuting easy.

Was planning to go to Otakon, but too much confusion and issues arose.

So I'll just be going to Youmacon in the Fall

Pretty much the only con I go to is Anime Weekend Atlanta because I simply don't feel like traveling for conventions. It's big enough to count as a "large con," but small and cozy enough not to be a big, imposing, impersonal thing (like the friends of mine who went to Anime Expo said of it).

AWA for me! Hopefully I'll have my Garma outfit done and will be doing the Artist's Alley.

When is AWA?

If I can get the time off and I can get my girlfriend to get the time off, maybe we'll go...

Maybe this time the brakes on my train home won't crap out and leave my train home stuck on the tracks an hour north of where I am anyway.

I may be going to AnimeX on Friday. If I do go, I'm not sure if I want to wear my blue Soundwave shirt, my red "Hooked on Energon" Optimus Prime shirt, or my olive shirt with a big ol' Godzilla on the front. If I could find printable iron-ons, I'd make a shirt with one of my customs on it.

I'll be at Comic-Con on July 27th, if anyone feels the need to come and kung-fu fight me to avenge the deaths of their parents/relatives/spouses/ancestors/whatever.

Of course, you'll have to find me first, and there will be so many people at Comic-Con that it'll be like a four-day aneurysm to the San Diego fire marshal.

I was planning to go to the Canadian Fan Expo this year but the chances of that are slim, what with me living on the other side of the country. *Sigh*

There is a significantly smaller Con in Edmonton in early august that I’m hoping to get to. If only to get out of this ridiculously small town for a weekend.

I actually did some panels there last year. And they have a puppet lady.

Okay, after some looking around at the events and such, I am defiantly going to animetion 14. It looks just too fun to pass up. Also, I’ve decided that I shall be cosplaying “Mr. Joker” from ROD

If you're at Anime Expo tomorrow and see this shirt, it may be me. Then you can get my autograph or offer to buy me sandwhiches. :D

The last anime con I went to was Animazement in Durham, North Carolina. The biggest thrill was getting to Keiko Han, the voice of Lalah. She was a riot in her panel. I really need to write my con report for MAHQ for that one. Next up is Yasumicon in Miami.
