I'd have something that would get you PUMPED!
Give it all by Rise Against.
What songs would go good in a Gundam game?

To be honest, I think that a Harry Gregson Williams/Hanz Zimmer kind of soundtrack would go great with a UC Game. Unless it's like, a final boss fight or something, I don't wanna to hear lyrics of any kind.
EDIT: Then again, I do sometimes blast Rage against the Machine songs while playing Rise from the Ashes and Crossfire...I guess I'm somewhat of a hypocrite.

Anything off Muse's Black Holes and Revealations(it's spacey!).
Opeth's Orchid album(it's also kinda spacey).
Wumpscut - Thorns
Some random Collide song.
VNV Nation - Joy (very much so, the lyrics anyway but since you're using midi hmm)
Dream Theater - Misunderstood(again with the lyrics)
Switchblade Symphony - Bad Trash, Mine Eyes
Alien Sex Fiend - Anything, they're awesome and hilarious.
Queen - Don't stop me now
Van Halen - Jump
Blur - Song 2
Weezer - Buddy Holly
Lordi - Rock the Hell outta You

Thank goodness no one said Linkin Park, or I would have to pull up a running joke.
Talking about classical, Stravinsky, he has some pretty frantic pieces, no?
I could think of a few Valkrie Profile songs I'd like to see put to MSG, and Rahxephon songs... hah, another mech anime soundtrack for a mech anime... >.>;; What about Paul Oakenfold, or some more erratic electroclash type stuff?

Lol i used to love old Linkin Park till they sold out to R&B (more then they already had) and were reclassed as R&B/EMO, they got me into the metal i listen to today.
Anyway always thought this would sound awsome in a fight....and here it is in a fight:

I think a bit of metal every so often to substitute the j-pop would be great!
