That's the first time I saw anybody mod a GFF figure.
EDIT: Anyone else think this was what GN Arms would have been before they decided to remake Orchis again? :p

The Dalong review for MG IJ is up.
Whoa, compared to the other Seed MGs, MG IJ is a whole head taller than its NG counterpart. What's up with that?

Sole detail. Really, they even put metal plates in place that no one will care. Well, you can pose that thing in flying pose, and show off the sole plates, but then what kind of display base that can support that humongous thing?

I don't know what this thing is, but looking at it's weight and the parts content at dalong.net it seems like this is the first Koto kit that's actually cheaper than the current Bandai releases in price/weight statistic. Just look at how many sprues there are.

Price/weight statistics aren't always the best to go for as it varies from kit to kit. But if you really really want too we can try with the 00 line a bit. Going weight wise it's a bit less then half the 1/100 Virtue. If you get two Virtues you get around equal weight (and more of a kit I'm sure!), even then the price is around the same. At best it's around even on a pure price/weight statistics.
Roketto Panchii (ロケットパンチ) My robot anime blog. Mostly review-ish about old robot shows, for now.
Don't think so. Then again, I'm just looking at the pics.AceWhatever wrote:Maybe Koto went for lower quality plastic this time.
I don't know what you're trying to prove here, but smaller kits tend to have better price/weight ratio (HG Gundam 00 destroys them both in terms of that statistic, FG Exia is even greater---paper is heavy) Compare that to, I don't know, other new Bandai kits in the 7000 club (Sinanju, Hi-Nu, both of which ballpark around 1.2 kg). Must be because Hi-Nu and Sinanju both have a high ABS-count, or, I don't know.)Price/weight statistics aren't always the best to go for as it varies from kit to kit. It's a bit of a silly stat, but point is, that's still a helluva lot of plastic for that price as an 09 release.
