The existence of these two makes me very happy with the state of the universe.

Oh yeah. The Nanoha(sp) mods that someone did using the Impulse as a base. Seeing as there is a ton of mecha anime references in those anime anyway something like this was bound to happen sooner or later.

I thought the white one reminds me of cardcaptor sakura. The black one however looks like a bad@$$ super deathscythe.

All in all, two great customs Excellent mods, excellent paint-jobs.

They look like they were adapted from Cardcaptor Sakura, huh?

Well, I can kinda see that, I guess. In the same way that an 'MS girl' adapted from one of Macross's Valkyries could seem to come from the same place as one based on the Zeta Gundam.

The actual source is Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha, which I highly reccomend.

Of course, since none of the three series have been liscensed yet, seeing them will require that those lacking delusions about the relative morality of fansubs track down the links themselves, but five minutes with Google should resolve that.

You can definitely sense that Cardcaptor/Nanoha vibe in both models. But if you look closely at the souped-up Deathscythe, you'll see it has also taken a cue from the Chaos. Anyway, I'm at a lost for words to describe the craftsmanship except that that's the way they should've designed the Deathscythe H. Custom!

There is no Deathscythe in the pic. Both models used the Impulse Gundam as a base unit for the mods.

Actually the black one is based on the Chaos. Its torso and lower legs give it away. The wings may have been a DSH Custom cloak when it was born, but was intensely modified.

If you look at the black one right above the head, im not sure if its just a trick fo the light, but you can see the nose of the armor part for the backpack for chaos
is a dunce with online stuff but can build anything mechanical :D

I really, REALLY like that black Chaos mod...very sinister.
The Impulse mod is pretty cool too.
