Revolvtech...who's got one...or more

Hello People

I have only one but he be amazing....Devil May Cry 3 Dante and I am really happy with it posed on my shelf at Uni. A pain to stand with and without the stand (which is too short) but when its posed it looks loverly.

Now who else has some of these figures and what do you think of them??

I'm surprised they're staying away from Gundam, but I think that they're staying away from Gundam in order to promote other series.

I've got the Dougram and it's not a bad little figure. It's fairly posable and can do all the poses they show on the box. Though I found it a little confusing initially as to how to mount the rocket pod on the figure without any real instructions. About the Gundam thing, it may just be an issue of Bandai not wanting to license it to Kaiyodo.

Like Bandai is going to let Kaiyodo do the Gundam design and lose money to them and create competition? We'll never see a Revoltech Gundam. On the other hand I bought the King Gainer recently which just shipped from HLJ. If I enjoy this I plan on buying Dangaioh, Mazinkaiser and Getta 1.

Yep, I got the Dante model too. Bought it the moment I saw it on HLJ. So many great poses to display and awesome weapons.

i just bought the revoltech Eva unit 00 kai and 04 off ebay a couple of days ago. got them for a good price too ($36 w/ shipping for both). they're not here yet, but im pretty exited and am looking forwards to all the posing....
btw, how tall are the Eva's? i read they were about 12cm, which isnt all to bad ( larger than a MSIA right?).

Yeah as soon as I saw the little bugger he was pre-orded best £10 ever spent : )

Love doing the guitar pose...right now he's got the shot gun up in the air and his sword point down into the ground...guitar and guns on his back.

My sister wanted him so bad too : ). Did anyone find the stand to short?? and the second face to goofy??

i got dante, revy, ingram 1 & 2 and hopefully convoy and megatron soon.

posability is somewhat odd (maybe its because im already used to MSiAs) but the end result is very impressive. although when moving the joints it kinda feels like its gonna break (especially the knee joints of the evas and ingrams).

My brother just recently received his King Gainer figure. I tinker with it when I feel so inclined, and I must say it is pretty impressive, if feeling just a tad fragile. The overall craftsmanship is great. I find it difficult to pose the arms because I haven't quite figured out how the shoulder articulation works.

I have all the Patlabor Revoltechs released thus far. Great figures especially for dynamic posing. Ironically the old MSIA style Unit 01 still has some advantages over the revoltech one. It's kinda of a mixed bag really. The new ones looks awesome kneeling, running and what not but the legs are always kinda crooked which makes them look funny hunched or standing up. Plus all the weapons are molded into the hands. I still love them though especially the shiny black Griffon.

I have (in order of greatness/awesomeness): Megatron, Prime, Zeroshiki and Dangaioh.

I really hope for more TF revoltechs though, like Soundwave and/or Bumblebee.

I got Eva 01 and King Gainer.

Need more. Planning to get Getter 1, Mazinkaiser, Dangaioh, Dante, and the new Dix-Neuf.

I'm also hoping they make a few more video game type figures like Dante.

More poseable or less poseable than HCM-Pros?

I ask because I heard a rumor that there was going to be an HCM Eva soon, and I'm deciding whether to get the HCM or the Revoltech.

My cousin has Megs and Convoy, and although they are based on the awful "Stay-Puft Marshmellow" Pat Lee designs, they're pretty poseable and neat.

from what ive seen, they are about the same, but ive seen revoltech evas doing things HCM-Pros wouldnt dream of. the thing about those new evas is that they are proportionally closer to the show (most notably larger heads). wait until they come out, but i looks like you should base your choice upon which one "looks" better to you.

Instead of starting a new thread, I'd rather post in an existing one. I'm entirely new to this 'Revoltech' figure line and I need some answers from those of you who have owned them. Exactly how big/tall are the Revoltech figures anyway? Around 12-15 cm? I am considering the Revoltech Helldiver from the Patlabor series (please comment if anyone own this product). Based on the previous post, I assume that the Revoltech and HCM-Pros are same in terms of poseability and articulation, anyone have different views on this?

revoltechs are quite posable thanks to the "revoltech joint" that allows it freedom of movement limited by the owner's imagination. you cant compare them with hcmpros because they're a totally different level.

as for size, they're unscaled and but i'd say the sizes are around 7-9 inches or such. the "minis" are well, smaller - around 4-5 inches if i recall.
