So this is something I've been wondering for a little while...
Bandai put out this Cross Silhouette series of SD Gundam models that lets you choose between "classic" SD proportions (legless feet and tiny non-jointed arms) or the more modern proportions akin to what you see in MS Saga. I believe part of the selling point was that one could use the CS Frame along with older SD Gundam kits (like the G Generation series they released in the early 2000s), which have the "classic" proportions, to make them into higher-quality models.
My question is, has anyone even attempted this and if so, how well does it work? While I assume there are ways to make things easier (like if I wanted an SD Blue Destiny I could use the CS Ground Gundam since they're related models), but the old G Generation series has an insane amount of variety and it'd be nice to be able to turn them into halfway decent models.
