Upcoming Gundam/Mecha related events in Manila, Philippines

Hello everyone, for those who are in Manila I would just like to inform everyone of the upcoming Gundam/Mecha related events here in Manila. Ban Kee Phils., the official distributor of Bandai products here in the Philippines, has requested Mechapinoy.org to put up displays of built and painted Gundam/Mecha kits in the said events. For those who are in the country right now, or those who are planning to go home and/or spend vacation, we hope you could all come!

Great, I just left Manila a month ago. And to think the venues there are some of my known locations. Hope you guys drop by in Iloilo, I certainly would come no matter the odds.

^ Interestingly, a friend who is into GunPla also living there in Iloilo will be coming over here to Manila for a visit. Well, as far as I know, Ban Kee has no plans to do caravans outside of Manila in the immediate future, but hey, one can always wish.

Well, just to remind everyone who will be joining Bandai Model Kit World Cup 2010 – Philippine Finals, final date of submission of entry form(s) will be on November 3, 2010, so you still have around 2 weeks to finish 'em up. You may read up the mechanics in Mechapinoy's blog page to learn how you can send your entry forms. See you all there!

BMKWC 2010 is still ongoing - and there are soooo many entries! Ban Kee also displayed new and upcoming kits, like PG Strike Freedom, MG 00-Quan[T], RG Char's Zaku, and HGUC Gouf Custom. I will try to take pics tomorrow when I get back there and post 'em up here

This event is ongoing! However it has been changed from above schedule to November 15-19, 2010 instead. The kits are displayed in the lower ground level of SM Megamall Bldg A., along with the displays and entries from IPMS-BA (Bert Anido) Philippines Chapter. IPMS-BA is holding their own set of events, and have their own sci-fi portion where mecha are included. Will post pictures as soon as they are available.
