BESPA and the Yellowjackets

So how big exactly was the Yellowjacket Squad in BESPA? It seems like they are a specialized squad(they have the brother of the Queen among their ranks); so it would seem that there are other teams, yet every named member of Zanscare seems to be a Yellowjacket. So is that their standard pilot suit color, or is it just part of a highly skilled team?
