So where exactly is the beginning of Gundam Wing (The Darlian family house, Relena's school) set? Is it supposed to be Japan (communication between the pilots on Zech's ship say the Gundam falling toward East Asia) or is it supposed to be a fictional country(like an Earth Capital or something)?

So, the only After Colony world map I know of shows the St. Gabriel Academy Catholic boarding school where Relina went to school on the eastern coast in Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. The map is printed very small, but it seems to be in Yokohama on Negishi Bay. The same map shows the Wing Gundam having crashed around 100 miles due south of Choshi.
