The Four Avengers?
The Four Avengers?
I know this is kinda obscure but are the Four Avengers ever seen in a manga or video game? Or do they just get referenced in VMSV?

What's a VMSV?
Re: The Four Avengers?
Victory Mobile Suit Variations. I'm not sure if its a manga or a model series, but it features alternate/unused designs from the various series.

More precisely, V-MSV is an original design series, just like the classic MSV, Z-MSV and so on.
Indeed, it features variations (=derivate versions such as team colors / markings) of MSs from Victory Gundam, more than "alternate/unused designs from the various series".
All V-MSV originarily appeared in a two-volume booklet titled New MSV Handbook, and its MAHQ listings can be found here.
As far as can be ascertained, so far only one of these mecha was used in a manga, namely the RGM-122 Prototype Javelin, seen in Mobile Suit Gundam Climax U.C. Spinning Lineage.
Speaking of the Four Avengers, one can refer to the following paragraph courtesy of Zeonic|Scanlations:

The AAAA Team (aka Four Avengers) is in possession of Jamesguns with a D-type code number assigned to them, modifications performed on-site as they contend with BESPA’s African district suppression forces on the African Front. As the name suggests, Lieutenant Robert Gomez, who aided the League Militaire, belonged to this unit of warriors with four mobile suits. With cooperation from the League Militaire’s nocturnal assault combat unit and the Bluebird team, they put a stop to BESPA’s advancing forces near Kilimanjaro.
