I believe the best way to start out this forum is to explore the names used in the series. From what I understand, the characters and Aura Machines all derive from stuff from fairy mythology or at least European folklore. Obviously, I'm having difficulty with names that arent's so blatant like Leprechaun or Spriggan. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out where the name Guran Galan came from. My thoughts are either A) it came from Welsh mythology since Galan/Calan means "new year" or B) come from something Slavic since it appeared in Ukraine upon its arrival into Upper Earth. Anyone wanna help?
