Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread
I'm really looking forward to hearing Ikeda act goofy and silly. The Char/Lalah segments are my favorite.

Well he was already Gundam 00's narrator.
Bit of a shame the original cast isn't returning to their roles, but I guess they're going with the idea that these characters are not really the ones from the original show.

Crazy theory- what if this is partly a back door to try out replacement VAs? It's gonna need to happen one day and doing it slowly via a gag project like this is far less sudden than say suddenly having a different Char VA introduced in The Origin. Ease them in, build acceptance and in time make them the official replacements?

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread
I looked up at cast, and LOL-ed at who was casted as Lalah-san. Turns out to be the real life daughter of Lalah's original MSG voice actress.
BTW, I agree with some of you thinking this is a test run for replacement VA's, but I think this will only apply to those who, for some reason, really needs to be replaced.

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread
So we don't get the pleasure of hearing the original cast acting silly again (like SD Gundam). Ah, well, can't win 'em all. This cast seems to be fairly solid, though.
I just hope that Konishi doesn't default to his typical "silly voice" and tries to fit Ikeda's original aloof performance.
A weird thing that amuses me: the actor for Amuro here also voiced Haru in Gunpla Builders.

If that were the case, why did they re-cast Bright? They already picked Ken Narita as Bright's replacement VA.HellCat wrote:Crazy theory- what if this is partly a back door to try out replacement VAs?

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread
And perhaps give it a Gunpla. In fact, if we want to talk merchandising for Gundam-san, that femmy Gyan might get a Gunpla.

Sazaki's sister?
Also holding onto the hope that maybe it might diverge a bit from the manga and we'll finally get that

Episode one is out. If your life long dream was to see Char do a naked dance, consider it fulfilled.

So I assume this is not a title Gundam.info feels the need to legally upload and subtitle?

Re: The Official Gundam-san Anime Thread
ON one hand I'm wondering on how they will make the longer stories from the comic work (e.g. Garma on Space Island, Comet Chick, etc.); whether they will present them in continuous episodes or do them intermittently.
Well, I guess I'm a nobody...
