Still reminds me of Eureka Seven characters, and that one mecha with the shoulder fin whatevers and lanky legs screams Evangelion at the top of its lungs at me. The transforming type and I guess the the "GM" type look kinda interesting, though.

Well, that's not hard to believe, considering the guy who designed the characters on the Eureka series is on this project.

I'm not going to enjoy this art style...maybe it'll be more fluid in the final product....maybe.

I don't mind the character art, and it looked decent enough in motion during that teaser. Jury's still out on the mechs, though I don't really have any inherent issues with some being a bit Eva -inspired. Do we know who the principle designers are?

I don't mind any of what we've seen other than the Turn-A Aile Strike. That thing is just...I don't know. I always hated the Aile pack but this one seems more reminiscent of the Core Fighter and other 0079 stuff. So I'll let ti slide for now until I see other possible packs.

My real issue with these switchable packs is they don't seem that creative. No ever seems to think about making them into mobile armors that can fight on their own, similar to the G-Defenser. The 00 Raiser did it. Or could. But it was just a single pack with no other sibling packs that could be switched out.

So eh, I'm not impressed but I'm not mad either.

At least the character designs all seem fine. Other than Mr. Sharky. Yes, I'm still going to complain about that guy's smile. It is the most atrocious thing I've seen since mass anorexia.

The thing with 00 is that 0 Raiser was basically a weakness and a security key. It existed because CB couldn't stabilise Twin Drive with the Gundam alone and as we saw with Anew and Revive it allows you to stop potential thiefs.

Build Fighters kind of did it with Boosters being for use if the main MS is destroyed/trapped.

According to what I can make out from the official website from the crappy Bing translator. Only three people can pilot the "G-Self" and it looks like each pilot uses a different backpack unit.

Here is the breakdown.

Our lead guy is voiced by a newcomer voice actor, Mark Ishii.

The female lead is voiced by Yuu Shimamura.

Rairaia Mandy, the dark-skinned blonde in the trailer, is voiced by Yukari Fukui.

Looks like Tatsuya Yuki's voice actor will be in this series, too.

By the way, I noticed the name Kurimu Nikku. His picture has not been revealed, could he be the sideburn guy in the trailer? Or he's the headband guy in the trailer getting annoyed by Haro 2.0?
