It appear Sir Bay will not be directing Bad Boys 3. Back in June, Joe Carnahan was in talks to write a new draft and possibly direct the third installment starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Carnahan responded to those reports over social media back in June, but stopped short of confirming them. It’s to social media we turn again today in which Carnahan shared a pre-vis image from pre-production on the film, teasing his likely seat in the director’s chair.

Gundam Thunderbolt Anime's 3rd Episode Arrives on March 18

Bandai revealed it will release the third anime episode of Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt in Japan on March 18 at noon JST (11:00 a.m. EDT). The Gundam Fan Club app will have an early release on March 4 for paid subscribers.

Mobile Suit Gundam UC RE:0096 TV Animated Series Announced!

The official Gundam.info portal site announced on Sunday that the Mobile Suit Gundam UC video anime series is getting a television broadcast run in Japan under the new title Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 starting on April 3. The series will air on Sundays at 7:00 a.m. on TV Asahi and its affiliated networks.

The anime is being reedited for the television version, and it will also feature a new opening and ending theme with new animated footage. Tielle is performing the opening theme song "Into The Sky" and Sawano Hiroyuki will perform the ending theme song "Next 2U -eUC-".

Additionally, Shuuichi Ikeda will narrate the next episode preview footage each week as his character Full Frontal. The broadcasts will also have an optional on-screen data stream component. Viewers can use the data to play games online and win presents.

The series music composer, Hiroyuki Sawano, revealed on his website the series will air for 2 quarter of the year (6 months).

Gundam Seed Head Scriptwriter Chiaki Morosawa Passes Away

Anime scriptwriter Chiaki Morosawa has passed away. She was 56. Author and My Neighbor Totoro production coordinator Hirokatsu Kihara posted on his Twitter account on Monday that Sunrise told him the news. The Gundam.info portal site confirmed the news and revealed that she passed away on Friday, February 19 due to aortic dissection.

Morosawa supervised and wrote the scripts for the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed television anime series, the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny sequel series, and the compilation films for both series. She also cooperated on the Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Re: manga.

Morosawa wrote the scripts for the Future GPX Cyber Formula Saga and Future GPX Cyber Formula Sin video anime series, as well as the Gear Fighter Dendoh television anime series.

Morosawa often collaborated with her husband Mitsuo Fukuda, who directed Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, as well as served as chief director for Future GPX Cyber Formula Saga, Future GPX Cyber Formula Sin, and Gear Fighter Dendoh. Morosawa's younger sister is ATASHIn'CHI film scenario writer Kazuyuki Morosawa.

Morosawa had explained in 2008 that the plot to a planned Gundam Seed film was completed, but that she had been ill since the end of 2004-2005's Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny sequel.
