Speaking at SacAnime 2015 in Sacramento,

"There is a sense that Transformers movies are going into a darker area" stated Mr. Cullen. "I think I brought the concern to the movie studio and certainly to the writers. Perhaps…Transformers 5 and 6 movies will go back more to its roots. There was an occasion where one line [in Transformers: Age Of Extinction] which Optimus Prime had, I did not want to say. It was my gut instinct and certainly my commitment to the character… not to say the line. But I was told to say. You can’t fight the big boys. I think you all know what that line was."

THE OFFICE Actor and Esurance Spokesman JOHN KRASINSKI in Negotiations to Star in 13 HOURS

Variety reports that Krasinski will be playing a Navy SEAL in the film, but THR says he’ll be playing the lead role of security operator Jack Silva, which is a pseudonym used in Mitchell Zuckoff’s book of the same name. THR says the film is a two-hander and that Chris Pratt was initially eyed for the part, and Variety says several actors have been reading for roles in the film including Woody Harrelson, J.K. Simmons, Walton Goggins, and Shea Whigham. Thus far, Krasinski is the only one in negotiations, as he apparently blew Bay away during his reading.

Voice Actor Chikao Ohtsuka Passes Away

Japanese voice acting agency Aoni Production announced on Friday that voice actor Chikao Ohtsuka passed away on Thursday due to an Ischemic Heart Disorder. He was 85 years old.

Chikao Ohtsuka played a large number of roles in anime throughout his life, including One Piece's Gold Roger, Mobile Suit Gundam 00's Aeolia Schenberg, Lupin the 3rd's Goemon Ishikawa, Gegege no Kitarō's Nezumi Otoko and Hakusanbo, as well as Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan's Nurarihyon. In video games, the actor played Maxwell in Tales of Xillia and its sequel, Eggman in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, as well Big Boss in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. He is survived by his son Akio Ohtsuka, who plays Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
