Alright so with this console generation coming to a close, what do you folks think of
Topic 1: Most Sympathetic Antagonist
Topic 2: Top 10 games from this past generation (ps3, 360, pc, ds, psp)

I think top endings is a great idea too and I would be cool with that one as well. However, I would really like to do this one.

Also I'm thinking about this going down Feb 16th at 6 p.m. CST. How does that sound?

Topic 1 is good, but we had the top mecha video games chat a few episodes ago. I'm sure we'd just be repeating ourselves for the most part.

Alright. I've been talking to some of the other chaters. They said any of the topics would be good and they had diverse enough list to make last gen games good. But that topic could wait because there are more current gen games on the way. What was mentioned is upcoming movies of 2014. How does that sound?

I'd like to pair the antagonists with the endings, so we can just have a spoiler warning for the entire episode.

I'd rather do a 2013 movie retrospective rather than a 2014 one.

I think that this is a good time to do a top 10 last-gen games list because the next gen for all intents and purposes is now in full swing. But if we do end up doing a movies review, I agree with Destiny_Gundam that a 2013 movie review would make more sense

We are for sure doing Antagonist. It was set in stone last Nov.

Topic 2 is still up in the air. I would like 10 last gen games. I would not mind favorite endings or upcoming movies. Though Daniel from facebook may have a point that we kind of did endings, but it still is kind of different.

I do not want to do 2013 movies, I've listened to and talked about Man of Steal, Iron Man 3 and all the others all that I want to. But talking about what we are looking forward to and predictions might be fun.

We might have to put it up for vote. Daniel says he'll stop by here tomorrow after work.

A final battle is different from an ending. Final battle is all about how exciting the fight was, while the ending looks at story resolution, character growth, and overall closure. You can have an awesome battle but a crappy finish (SEED for example).

I'm for the movie predictions because the endings is a little too close to our final battle discussion. I know the differences but its still very similar and we don't want to sound like we're repeating ourselves. The games topic can be delayed because the current gen still has about a year left in it so to pronounce it dead now is a little premature and there are a few games coming out on 360 that I still want such as Earth Defense Force 2025.

I would consider 3DS and Vita last gen since they've been around for so long.

Also do we really wanna do top 10? It took quite awhile to get through it last time.

I'm a few episodes from finishing my 4th or 5th watch of Gundam Wing. I would love to do a chat on the show sometime in the future.

I'm sticking with no vita and 3ds for last gen. Those are current gen portables. If you can't think of 10 games then I don't mind what you want to add. I'm sticking with 10, we'll do 2 at a time. There are too many great games to try and shorten the list. Also PC games during the ps3 and 360's life cycle works too.

Do to how few sympathetic antagonist there are in mecha anime, I'm going to go ahead and say feel free to use other media like movies and video games.
