[Wedge: You have 1 spare point for special, but you can only put points into 2 categories.[/quote]

Thanks I adjusted it.

And about the whole tech thing, I plan on taking out some of the beam weapons, and cleaning up what I put. Possibly making it more in depth this all depends on laziness of course.

I'll be sure to limit the use of my Slayer Gundam's beam weapons... besides, the power stats I provided wont even allow me to use all of them in one battle.

more burning questions:

-evasion skills/ability to avoid/evade+counter, etc. Will that fall under defense or speed or search? is it a combination of two?

-low power stat - limited variety of useable weapons?

-adaptability stat - limited to terrain onry, or also applies to whatever "unusual" or "unconventional" weaponry the enemy has?

I don't know about the first two, but the adaptability applies to all situations, includeing terrain and whatever the enemy might be throwing at you.

Just notice Akin was approved, thanks Cardi. But does this mean I can't edit an appearance field into his MF or should I PM the appearance to you so you can edit it in there?
Hmm. Luke, this Gundam reminds me of a puzzle.

Alright, this was supposed to be posted last night, but the forums have been screwing up for me for the past 12 hours (not internet connection in general - it's only on these forums that things get screwy  )

Alright everyone, here we go: ALL CHARACTERS HAVE BEEN APPROVED

However, not all Gundams have been approved. Let's get started on specifics, shall we?

SNT1: Everything's fine save for the Ultimate Attack "7-Shadow Slash". That seems an awfully sophisticated and, honestly, overwhelming move for early FC. You don't have to remove it, just tone it down a bit. A possible suggestion: Maybe somehow the doubles are somewhat easily discernable from the real thing with some focus. In picking out the real one you have time to set up your attack.

Folken Fanel: Your numerical stats emphasize lightness and speed, yet you're decked out with so many weapons - some of them rather heavy weapons - that your Gundam seems better suited as a heavy power fighter. Either ditch the mounted beam cannons and cut down on the other mounted weapons, or redo your stats to make the Odin Gundam into an ultra heavy fighter. Also, ditch the sniper rifle unless you retool it into a dedicated sniper specialist unit.

Ziryab: You seem to have started off with a focus on point-blank hand-to-hand fighting, yet some of the optional armaments confuse that, such as the bazooka and long-rang beam rifle. What's the reason for this? Everything else is fine.

Also, haven't had a chance to take a close look at your second entry, but Neo Hong Kong's nation code is "NH", not "NHK".

Cardi Doorl: Yeah I know, I know, I've got several problems to fix with my numbers, and I need to change my second Ultimate Attack... I'm gettin' on it :P

RGM-79G GM Command: What say we lose the revolvers, eh? ;)

Dark Duel: It was hard to find where to start here. Basically, please don't try to cram CE into an FC RPG. No fission reactor, no over-the-shoulder beam cannons unless you're making it a very heavy unit, get rid of all those beam blades, and the monophase light-wave barrier is an outrageous proposition. Please, this isn't a Cosmic Era RPG, so don't try to make it one.

Also, see Psyden's comment about your ability point totals: "You need to check your points totals. 78 for normal, 85 for special."
Psyden: For both of your entries, you forgot to mention powerplant :P Also, there's nothing else objectively wrong, but considering you're reviving the High Noon Attack for your Neo American, you might want a flaregun because of, you know... you know? ;)

For your Neo Australian entry, that heat hunting knife technically counts as a fixed weapon. Same goes for the boomerangs.

EZero8: Understand that, due to the nature of your special mode, you can't change into it during a fight - it has to be a pre-fight decision whether or not you equip it. As long as you understand this, it's approved as is.

Wedge14: You indicate, in your stats, a lightweight, speedy Gundam. In light of this, please remove the torso-mountd beam cannon. Also, please change your AK-47 to a shell-throwing type and remove the bayonet. I suggest also that the optional hammer not be heated, as that's somewhat pointless - just make it a standard clobbering weapon.

ORegan: Mispelled "shellelagh" ;) Also, considering the nature of the weapon, making it a beam is a little pointless. Try for normal blunt weapon. Also, those beams in your Ultimate Attacks: where are they coming from? You seem to generate beams willy-nilly.

Shori: Go ahead and change the daggers to heat weapons. The shotels are fine, but I suggest you change the name to "beam-edge" (or something like that) to clarify that they're not full beam weapons per se. Also, I know you were worried that the cloths would be the biggest problem, but they're not at all; there's a strong precedent for Neo Egypt using that kind of technology anyway.

Gambit01: Please add a nation code to your Gundam's model number.

Strike Zero: I think you accidentally added a 1 to your Barrage Mode defense stat. Also, special modes can only add to two categories and must lower a third stat by 5 points. Please change accordingly.

CYNICISM AT IT'S BEST: Alright, due to a cornucopia of internet problems, we didn't get a chance to take a look at yours closely, CAIB. Once the forums start behaving again (at least for Fritz and I, I dunno if anyone else is experiencing the same weirdness), we'll look at yours.

Somehow, I knew that was the cause of unapproval  would nerfing it into 3- or 5-shadow slash work?If not, I can scrap the attack (and stats) altogether and rework a new attack...

those who made some effort to up the search stat should be able to see the 'real thing'

I was pla

edit - search stat - does it affect accuracy as well?

Changes you mentioned have been applied to the Osiris, and I also fleshed out the information behind my stat points to give an overall idea of the functionality of my unit.

Also, I've been having the same problems with the boards, too. It's on and off, but the board -really- lags at times, and sometimes doesn't even work at all.

It's most likely the fault of the server overall and not the board itself.

I've made most the adjustments you mentioned. I downgraded the bayonet into a heat type instead of just ditching it.

I also changed the missing polar bear to missing gymnastic students...

Nation code added  You'd think I'd remember something like that.

Yeah, looking back I think I read too much into the whole "descended from older, pre-Gundam fight military versions" and figured it would have still kept such weaponery as well as other MF entries. ^^;;

Seeing as that isn't the case then I'll scrap the optional armaments but given the competition I'd like to at least keep the beam spray gun, if that's alright.

And thanks for the heads up on Neo Hong Kong's nation code.

Addition to list of stat error:

Ziryab: (For Neo-Hong King) You took an extra .5 from your Power in Wuxia mode. It should be at 8, not 7.5.

Ziryab, the Beam Spray Gun is a GM weapon from the OYW. I think it was only called that because it looked like a Spray Gun. Also, might I suggest a Beam Pistol? I really don't see what a Semi-Automatic Pistol would fit in its place.

I also fixed the technical errors with my Gundams.

I will add some side characters a bit later. Been meaning to do it sooner, but have been a bit lazy.

If Love is the answer, could you please rephrase the question?

So in other words what your saying is that I need something like an early Shining Gundam? One reason I gave it revolvers is cause I didn't want it stereotypical. Can I at least give it another gun?

SNT1: Hm... Very well on your toning-down proposal. With that, Jeepney Gundam will be approved. Also, since Search deals with sensory stuff and target acquisition, then yes, it affects accuracy.

Ziryab: Actually, I singled out the bazooka and beam rifle because the beam spray gun still made sense. You may keep it, meaning the Luta Livre Gundam is now approved.

Psyden: Both your Gundams are now approved.

Wedge14: Alright, I'll meet you halfway at a heat bayonet, Vodka Gundam approved. Also, the change to your character's story is your prerogative, but the polar bear angle did make your character so deliciously eccentric (as though his odd appearance and lack of surname didn't do that already). ;) Ah well, your choice there.

Shori: Gundam Osiris now approved.

Gambit01: Templar Gundam now approved.

Thanks Cardi. I came up with most of the stats off the top of my head, so 'm not suprised I need to redo them. The heavy fighter sounds good.
