I've decided to revive this, what with my new love of the '10 Camaro and the new Knight Rider revisit. So, if you guys want to, fill this place up with your favorite cars, car videos, stories of your car..and general car stuffs!
My Favorite: Camaro. Was the Volvo C30 for a time, until common sense whacked me upside the head. The new 2010 looks nice, and with the pre-prod pics out with the car minus it's camo..it makes me drool even more.
Pre-Prod Camaro w/o Camo
Current Vehicle: 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I hate power drivers seats and automatic transmissions because of this truck.

1969 Shelby Mustang GT500, jet black with midnight gray racing stripes and black rims. I'd want people to hear a roar in the night and say "WTF was that?!" as I drive away smiling.
Current vehicle: 1999 Ford Escort ZX2...ahhh, the ol college car...
Soon to have: 2004 Audi A4 Can't wait, cant wait, can't wait!

1968 Plymouth Road Runner, just like the one my dad drove back in the day. Bahama Yellow with flat black on the hood, like so (that's a '69).

My Dream Car All it needs is some 4.30 gears in the back. Of course I could settle for this.
Is this way you moved to the Chevy team? The Big Zabowski wrote:Current Vehicle: 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. I hate power drivers seats and automatic transmissions because of this truck.

The day I laugh at anybody for their car will be the day that I actually own a car, which isn't today and doesn't look to be any day in the near future.
However, I could die happy if I could ever own a Mustang, any type as long it's one of the more recent ones.

Ahem....did you see what I'm driving?! Your rides kick the crap out of a ZX2 any day, lol! I mean, I can barely fit MYSELF in that thing let alone anyone else.Wingnut wrote:I drive a 1998 SL2. If they laugh, they must laugh at both of us.ShadowCell wrote:I drive a black 1997 Saturn SL1.

My Favorite: Ooooo...this is a tough one. I really love the Aston Martin DBS, it's stylish, sophisticated and fast. The Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is a simply stunning car to look at and for sheer luxury it can't be beat. Teak droptop cover, brushed stainless steel hood, cashmere lined soft-top and suicide doors, to name a few.
Currently driving: 1990 Buick LeSabre Limited Edition. I inherited it when my great-uncle passed and it's a rusty pile of gas-guzzling crap.

The one thing I hate about the Roush Mustang is it's gigantic front bumper. It's like they forgot to correct the Roush's pronounced underbite when designing it.

My list of dream cars remains unchanged, but the car I actually own has. I used to have my mom's old 94 Dodge Intrepid SE. I loved that car - so many memories, but the engine was worthless and my dad got sick of having to fix it.
So now I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. Every time I look at the logo on the trunk, I think it says Gundam.

This has nothing to do with how I kicked all their asses out on the side of the road.
I drive a '91 Mitsubish Eclipse GSX. Engine still runs great, but everything else is starting to fall apart at 148k miles. Sometimes I drive my dad's '91 3000GT VR-4.
As for my favorite cars:
Chevrolet Corvette: NO doubt the best American Sports Car, quite possibly the best for its price, and among the fastest in Nurburgring Nordschleife. The 620+ HP Corvette ZR1 will pretty much kick every other car's ass out there.
Cadillac CTS-V: A luxury sedan with 550-hp? Want.
Chevy Camaro: It's Bumblebee, and better than Mustangs. Probably cheap, too, for something that will have some 400-odd horsepower (Z28?)
Nissan GT-R: Some car magazines (such as Motor Trend) pretty much called it a Gundam on wheels. 'nuff said.

Don't underestimate the General and its ability to put some serious wheels on the market.

A White 1996 Toyota Camry....yeah that's what I drive. Going on 12 years old but still going strong. Despite how funny it may be compared to what other kids are driving around me, I can still keep up with em - and save gas all at the same time
My favorite cars are the Chevy Camaro (no particular year), the Nissan GT-R (love Syylines), the Evo, and the Haichi-Roku (spelling?) from Initial D.

It's supposed to start around 21K and the 420HP V8 LS3 (speculated) may hit around 28K on either the SS or Z28 (Whichever they place first in the order of ascension). There's also supposed to be an 525HP LS9 (if memory serves) being dropped into the top end model, and that's supposed to top out at around 50K. They're also bringing the RS trim back, which is kind of like the high end V6 model (310 HP DOD V6 is speculated).SNT1 wrote:Chevy Camaro: It's Bumblebee, and better than Mustangs. Also, I believe one of the Cadillac models shares the Zeta chassis with the Camaro and G8. Can't remember the name for the life of me though. As for the GT-R; I saw it at the NAIAS..and was kinda meh on the car. Didn't really see where they got off calling it Gundam influenced.
I can see that happening. Yours does at least have the passenger side rear view mirror, right? Some SL1 units didn't have that.ShadowCell wrote:Everybody I gave a ride to would laugh at how I had no power windows or power locks.Wingnut wrote:I drive a 1998 SL2. 94 ford tempo is my wheels.
Long story almost interesting story behind this car.
My parents first sold me a GMC Astro van. La la la. It cost me 200 dollars. Then one day it just exploded. Sitting in my driveway. Just randomly my van went all crazy and self destructed all over.
I had fire insurance. And it was a hassle. It didn't seem like i was going to get any money but i kept fighting.
My grandmother who is one of those typical crazy ladies who can't drive lost her license. So she gave me her 2004 Envoy.
It cost too much to insure. But for a while i felt like a pimp and everything because it had chrome rims and all this other fancy stuff.
So i sold it for 15 to my uncle. And bought the tempo for 500.
A week later my insurance company caved and rewarded me 6000 for my exploding van.
I like the Tempo tho. It's manual. Small slow. But cheap as dirt to fix. Enough room to fit a lot of beer in the trunk as well.
So wedge had enough money for hookers and blow to last him a weekend.
Favourite car has to be the '67 vette. I'm partial to Lancer too.
