Strength of the Peagus Class?

So it seems that the Peagus class could probably be in the running for one of the strongest ships in most conflicts, however are they all built the same weapons wise if not in appearance? Does every ship have the same armaments? Or are some more powerful than others to start with?

Albion is obviously different and much more powerful.
The 3 blocks of Pegasus class have pretty obvious improvements, and Albion is the 3rd block.
The 2nd block of Pegasus class is a mess, I don't want to rant about that here unless you really want to know, but just so you know, the three blocks only share a common concept and even their appearances are different.

Armaments-wise, most if not all Pegasus-class ships conform to the post-Jaburo White Base's armaments in terms of their main offensive armament. Defensive weapons vary a bit.

The Grey Phantom/Troy Horse type and Albion type doesn't have a shell firing main gun, while Albion have secondary Mega particle cannons.
Thoroughbred has a main gun but didn't state its calibre like the WB's 520/580/880mm.(This is also fun because apparently the 880mm figure on Whitebase comes from a book involving Okawara, but in that book it was stated to have 2 double barrel 880mm main guns.)
Blanc Rival is also a bit hazy with its main guns, seems like some Japanese sites cite a 280mm figure.

WB still have a shell firing main gun post Jaburo and the MPCs installed are still 2x double barrel guns.
If we only look at main armaments, ignoring defensive ones, the 3 blocks have this evolution:
Block 1(Pegasus, WB, WB Jr.):
1x 520/580/880mm shell firing double barrel cannon + 2x double barrel MPC.
Block 2:
Type A(Thoroughbred, Blanc Rival): unspecified calibre or number of barrels or even if shell firing or not main guns(maybe 280mm on Blanc Rival, unsourced on Japanese wikis) + 2x double barrel MPC.
Type B(Gray Phantom, Troy Horse, Stallion): 2x double barrel MPC, no shell firing main guns.
Block C(Albion):
2x double barrel MPC main guns, 2x double barrel MPC secondary guns.

I wouldn't say they all conform to post Jaburo WB.
