Is the Perfect Gundam canon to UC?

The announcement of the Perfect Gundam II Robot Damashii got me asking this: Is the Perfect Gundam cannon to UC? The Wikia said that the Perfect Gundam only existed as data, but I need some confirmed sources about this. And frankly, how different would the Perfect Gundam be in that case when compared to the Full Armor Gundam? All I see are different guns and thrusters.

As far as I am aware, the PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam is just a MSV design... its only appearances in-story have been as a Gunpla, in the manga Plamo-Kyoshiro and later in Gundam Build Fighters.

never heard of the Perfect Gundam before, was this made before or after the FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam got designed (not talking about the shows but gunpla/msv). looks like whatever design came second was influenced by the first one
