After the Kshatriya was destroyed, it looks over at the light emitted by the kshatroya being destroyed.
It briefly appeared in the distance on a Shackles when the Zeon MS company first appeared.Rawinder wrote:Where did the Gelgoog appear? I only spotted the Regelgu.
BD is guaranteed to have the entire Tennyson Fleet and do the L1 Junction with the ROZ white Hizacks.Calubin_175 wrote:The original novel depicted the Palau Unicorn extraction as a suicide mission, with the Nahel Argama only deploying approximately 5 mobile suits + Lotos. It was also said that the Sleeves had 10 times the forces of the Nahel Argama at the final battle.
Bande Desinee had the same amount of Jegans at Palau as the anime did, so their version of the final battle might beef up the Sleeves forces a bit to show more mobile suits.
Personally I am glad the OVA's Nahel Argama vs Neo-Zeon task force scenes were not as over the top and one sided as that of the novels. I enjoyed watching grunts from both sides blow each other up and the Unicorn Gundam disabling only a handful of MS instead of the entire Neo-Zeon Tennyson Fleet. I really wish however that they included the L1 Junction stuff and involved the Republic of Zeon like they did in the novels.Calubin_175 wrote:The original novel depicted the Palau Unicorn extraction as a suicide mission, with the Nahel Argama only deploying approximately 5 mobile suits + Lotos. There was both at least one Stark and one Prototype Stark. There was also another machine flying near the Prototype Stark at the beginning of the battle, but I can't tell if it's a Prototype model or a regular Stark that has just jettisoned those shoulder missile pods.Deathzealot wrote:I decided to do a quick count of Argama's Mobile Suit Compliment during this episode, its not really complete for I have may have missed a few or counted a mobile suit twice. Not mention it does not include the mobile suits from the end of the last episode which got disabled by Banshee.
Spoiler
1 x REZEL Commander, got heavily damaged by Bawoo Unit (I think that was a Commander??)
2 x Regular REZEL, during the battle with Angelo's Company
1 x Stark Jegan, or Prototype Stark Jegan, didn't really get a good look at it since it only appears for a few seconds
4-5 x Jegan Ds during various parts of the battle, don't have a solid number on this, since apparently they are a couple that are standing on the hull of the ship defending it from there, though thanks to the darker paint jobs these maybe ECOAS Types.
3-4 x Jegan ECOAS Types, with one modified unit for the leader, this one has the purple face shield
1-2 x Jegan EWAC Types, we only see one of these units which is later seen taking a position to observe as Unicorn and the ECOAS make their way to I7 but the images on the bridge of the Argama have this unit tagged as EWAC 02, and they mention two unit callsigns before the cannon firing
3-4 x Geara Zulus, with one on a Skiure, also these units besides being repainted are also equipped with some Jegan equipment for the one defending the Argama's Fourth Catapult had a beam saber not a beam tomahawk like other Geara Zulus. I have heard these are actually Guard Types, but I didn't seen anything on it.
1 x Kshatriya Repaired, is launched to support Unicorn FA against Banshee and later destroyed, /grumbles/
1 x Unicorn Full Armor
/whistles as he looks up/ Damn that is alot of mobile suits let's see whats the total... 17 to 21 mobile suits and that is not even considering the units we see in the last episode. How the heck did Argama get so many mobile suits we never even see them carrying that much in earlier episodes not to mention where did they get them for i thought they only had a few mobile suits remaining. /shakes head/ Anyhow still an interesting little count I did. Feel free to add or discuss this for I may have gotten a few things wrong.
I thought that too but according to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5eGmmPvA_8#t=20 and the HGUC kit, it is a Republic of Zeon MS. Satou (or is it Satoh?) and his men come from Side 3 and join forces with Neo-Zeon.FinalSin66 wrote:No one mentions that a RMS-099B Schuzrum Dias never appeared along with the other NEO ZEON ms that made cameos
I got the impression that the Axis suits were being thrown at the Nahel Argama, almost like fodder, the Bawoo almost rammed into it, and having the mobile suits board the decks seemed like a desperate tactic.Zgok wrote:Calubin_175 wrote:The lack of Geara Dogas might suggest that they are pretty much extinct. Sleeved Zaku III confirmed.
As my favourite MS, it sad to think about but then again we do not know. Out of four Musakas confirmed to survive the battle of Palau, only 2 are seen destroyed by the series end. At the same time we know at least one Geara Doga survive the battle intact. It is possible that the few remaining ones are in the two Musakas that may have survived or at Palau or another Neo Zeon enclave or even as part of MS compliment of the Endra that survived the Nahel Argama's attack.
What is even more puzzling to think about though is how the Sleeves seem to field far more Gaza-Ds than Geara Zulus. In episode 7, without counting the ones on the Nahel Argama, we see only 3 Geara Zulus yet in every Neo Zeon MS group there were at least 2 Gazas not to mention all the ones we see in Palau. Were the rest of the Geara Zulus on the Rewloola and the Musaka that was escorting it? Either what MS and ships left in Neo Zeon by the end of the episode would not matter considering the ending of the episode.
I got that feeling too since Episode 3, 4. It seems that Full Frontal wanted to get rid of Axis and Principality of Zeon remnants as they would get in the way of his ultimate plans of creating a Side Co-Prosperity Sphere because those remnants solely wanted either revenge against the Federation or the restoration of the Zabi family. By encouraging these remnants who have been itching for a fight for years to attack with the hopes of them dying in battle is the perfect way to get rid of them while still dealing damage to the Federation. What Angelo Sauper says in episode 7, calling them warmongers who pretend to be loyal to the Neo Zeon cause but are a blight, etc. reinforces the idea that Axis and Principality of Zeon remnants are ultimately a threat to Neo-Zeon plans. It made sense to use them first against the Nahel Argama to spare the Neo Zeon troops loyal to the Sleeve's cause at the moment whene the Laplace's Box was about to be acquired.Angelo Sauper wrote:I got the impression that the Axis suits were being thrown at the Nahel Argama, almost like fodder, the Bawoo almost rammed into it, and having the mobile suits board the decks seemed like a desperate tactic.
As for the other Musakas, I would not be surprised if they were held back with whatever is left of the rest of the fleet mentioned regrouping in the shoal zone. My guess is that it was unthinkable that the Nahel Argama could make it past the group of Endras and Musaka. With the NA dealt with, they could deploy the rest of the fleet ready to counter an attack from the General Revil or other Federation forces. I suppose they also assumed that the Neo Dong was all that was needed at the Magallanica and the Rewloola with its escort would later retrieve the box.
Why the Rewloola didn't get there before the Nahel Argama is a mystery and a disappointment, did it rendezvous with the rest of the fleet to retrieve parts for the Neo Zeong?
Or the rest are just a reserve fleet to protect their remaining supplies.Rawinder wrote:Considering how few ships were seen in episode 7 -- and I find it hard to believe Frontal would pull any punches for what was his endgame here -- I assumed that there were simply more ships crushed in between Palau's asteroids than originally believed.
I can't remember exactly what happened in Char's Counterattack, but the fleet did something similar by splitting up to achieve multiple objectives in a short space of time.Rawinder wrote:Considering how few ships were seen in episode 7 -- and I find it hard to believe Frontal would pull any punches for what was his endgame here -- I assumed that there were simply more ships crushed in between Palau's asteroids than originally believed.
