For anyone who might be curious, I've done another in my series of partial translations of Variable Fighter Master File to finally sort out the difference(s) between the different types of thermonuclear reaction turbine engines that've been mentioned/described over the years:

• Initial-type Thermonuclear Reaction Turbine Engines
  FF-2001, FF-2006, FF-2008 (VF-1 Valkyrie) and, by extension, all 1st thru 3rd Generation VFs.
• Thermonuclear Reaction Burst Turbine Engines & Stage II Thermonuclear Reaction Turbine Engines
  FF-2550 and FF-3001, and by extension all 4th and 5th Generation VFs excl. YF-29, YF-30, VF-31 Custom Siegfried, Sv-262 Draken III
• Stage II Thermonuclear Reaction Turbine Engines (/FC2 type)
  FF-3001/FC2 used by YF-30 Chronos and VF-31 Custom Siegfried, and by extension the YF-29 Durandal, YF-29B Perceval, and Sv-262 Draken III.
