Confirmed. Someone just colored the Hiryu Kai grey for some reason. More practical color idea for a warship I'd imagine as bright red isn't exactly a camouflage color.

Re: The Official "Identify This Mecha" Thread Ver 1.0

Looks like the RX-78Opt Gundam G-Dash, from the 1995 PC game "Gundam Tactics - Mobility Fleet 0079".

It was also featured as a custom gunpla in "Gundam Weapons - New Generation" which featured many MSV and game exclusive designs, such as the Gundam 04, 05, RX-78-7 as per original Okawara lineart.

Perhaps it's supposed to be a prototype for the GP03 Dendrobium Orchis?
Those turbofan engine-like pods look like the I-field barrier generator the Orchis has.
Thanks T.V. for your confirmation and your help. :D

It does indeed appear in the anime. I don't recall if it appears in the old OVAs(but I think so), though I am certain that it appears in the Divine Wars series.

Can anyone identify this fellow and where it comes from (i.e. series, manga, OVA, etc)?

It's the ORX-013 Gundam Mark V. It appears in Gundam Sentinel, a photonovel/model kit series.

Thanks! :) I thought the style of the drawing looked an awful lot like Gundam Sentinel.

Re: The Official "Identify This Mecha" Thread Ver 1.0

I was doing some random Googling for pictures of powered armor, and found these in someone's image directory. Googling for "CCCP paraplegic power armor anime" hasn't worked, sadly. Can anyone kindly tell me what this mecha is, and what series it is from? It's the kind of thing that you can't get out of your head until you get an explanation!

Sorry if this is a repost.

I hope those links work, please tell me if they don't.

Need some info on this. Appears to be some sort of Sentinel variation

Also that Buster Gundam is apparently a re-imagining of the Buster Gundam. It says Imaged by TALLGEESE and carries the same model number. It would appear to be the fan's imagining of a buster tallgeese. Since the magazine appears to be model graphix I would suggest looking in there to check for more

Yup - it's an Izubuchi-fied Zakrello.

Looks like a highly stylized F91, but the image tag says Y (gamma) Gundam though. I think that it's a fan created Gundam to be honest.

Yeah, that's just a fan-made design - here's the artist's blog, from what I gather.

It's just a custom model out of "Model Graphix". Often times, Hobby Mags will include random customizations of kits just to feature cool ideas and works from Gunpla enthusiasts. So there's technically plenty of those kinds of suits around, but they're not "canon" to a series or Manga or anything like that.

I remembered seeing this in Destiny when Yzak's squad was taking out one of the Requiem relay points, anyone know who this custom Blaze Zaku belongs to?
