Iota Team/Kirov

Ltjg. Kelborn

Grace had grabbed Jason when she had crawled out of her Marasai and now sat with him in the pilots lounge, taking Grant's good advice, and eating a sandwich while they wait. She sighs heavily and leans her head against Jason's left arm, which she's hanging onto in the microgravity. Her thoughts mirror Jason's, she too didn't see any opportunities to make a break for it. "We.. might have to dive in the thick of it to get away," she murmurs.

Boxoro Team

“Heads …..... ten, gentlemen. …..... got that.”
"Roger," Tyler responded and made a few minor course corrections, placing him on a better intercept vector before bringing his rifle to bear and firing 2 relatively well placed shots in the direction of whats left of the Mudra team, then another 3 without much regard to placement, "Make some noise Tim, keep 'em focused on us!"

The other half of Boxoro Team keep on course, "Hold your fire until you're sure to hit, its like soup out there," the Eijah cautions Vlad as he waits for a solid lock and ready to start juking the second the AA starts, which ought to be at any moment..

Lt. Allister Grant

"Sir," Allister replied as he slightly bowed and left the bridge, 'Buxoro', he thought to himself. Unaware of their pilots or their location he stopped by a comm panel and picked up a receiver to contact the hanger.

"This is Lt. Grant. Make sure our nav maps are updated with the Buxoro team's last known location." As the battle intensifies all information will be delayed so he'd rather be updated at the start but eventually he knows they'll be blind out there.

Grant then disconnects and punches up codes to connect with the lounge and pilot's quarters via intercom. "Iota team, we sortie in 5."

- Kwire Team -

Everything seemed to slow down for Emmers, who was mesmerized at Moore's lifeless suit tumble away, then suddenly it was as if time jumped in order to catch up. Sound was the last thing to appear which snapped Emmers out of his trance. He looked up at the Kwire's flares and grabbed his controls to straighten his Gaza.

"Okay! F-fall back, Aldrich I want you on guard duty while me and Kell get repairs or refueled,"

Ltjg. Jason Drossel

Jason leaned his head back against the seat and closed his eyes, trying to picture both of them somewhere else..a park bench, a movie theater, or home. It was a dream he was determined to see come true even if it meant..

"We.. might have to dive in the thick of it to get away,"

She seemed to be of same mind in her remark. As long as they wore Titan uniforms it would be shoot first ask questions later for the Federation, so they would have to be extra careful until they see an opening even down a few AEUG suits if it meant survival.

"We gotta do what it takes...I'm not gonna giv-"

"Iota team, we sortie in 5."

Grant's voice echos and looms over both pilots causing Jason to clench his teeth shut.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-Mudra team-

The three remaining Gaza-C’s were in a loose formation, not doing much moving as Pamnell, now the ranking officer, tried to figure out what they ought to be doing. The Mudra itself had given no more specific orders than take up position around the ship.

Simultaneously, each pilot heard a series of alarms as their sensors picked up various incoming objects from multiple directions. The first group they spotted came from their front right, which they rotated towards. They clearly saw incoming mobile suits fighting with each other, but no one was sure whether it was AEUG, Titan, or friendlies.

“That might be the rest of the team…” Pamnell remarked over an open channel, hoping he could pass command along to someone else. No sooner had the words left his mouth then they all detected more incoming, from the left of the Mudra group. The three Gazas rotated toward the new group just as the Buxoro team opened fire.

“Move!” Pamnell yelled, and in a rare show of organization, the team shifted their three mobile armor-conformed Gazas toward the incoming team and accelerated. Except for Weghoz, in the rear of the formation, who spun his Gaza directly into an incoming beam, exploding his machine brilliantly and sending chunks of the machine in all directions. Neither Pamnell or Raymont noticed as they charged the incoming Marasai team, heading toward the pair of Titan suits that had shot at them, with both Axis pilots opening fire with repeated, if inaccurate, shots from their knuckle busters.

==================================================================

-The Mudra-
-Bridge-

The brief feeling of calm and reassurance the bridge had felt over the return of their MS team vanished when the bridge had detected the incoming Marasai team seconds before the opened fire, too late to warn their pilots.

Finalan was breathing quickly as he watched the three Gazas wheel around, seemingly in good order, only to see one explode. He was about to bark orders to the team when a chunk of what had been a part of the pink machine banged off the top of the bridge, knocking him over slightly and prompting the entire bridge crew to look upwards, fearful of serious damage, but none was visible.

Already, the gun mounted under the bridge, the only forward facing one still up and able to shoot, pivoted toward the incoming team, which helped Finalan compose himself. “Tell that gun to keep its fire to the left of our team!” He panted, and the order was relayed just as the gun began to steadily unleash shots in the direction of the incoming Titan suits.

==================================================================

-Mandra team-

Rusty and his half of the team flew directly over the Kwire as they arrived in support, in time to catch a glimpse of a pair of Gazas heading toward some incoming suits. Leaving Fields and Rout, he floated close to the bridge of the Endra and contacted the ship. “This is Lieutenant Orion from the Mandra team, what’s goin’ on?” He asked, too happily and too loudly for the situation.

He was greeted by the still slightly panicked face of Captain Finalan, who introduced himself. “Our team is heading to engage incoming Titans, and we have other units engaged to our right front, and-“

“Alright!” Orion grinned, cutting off Finalan, “We’ll take care of it. The Mandra will be here soon, so don’t worry!” He broke the connection, switching back to his team’s radio channel. “Peoron, we’ll get the group to the left, you get those guys coming from the front of the ships,” He radioed to the incoming group. Once again assuming his team was following suit, which Fields and Rout were, he rocketed past the Mudra, whose guns had to hold fire for a moment, and toward the Titans. They raced in, but held their fire, for the pair of suits from the Mudra slightly blocked their shots, and Rusty wanted to get closer…

-Team 2-

Eddie and Bernard closed with rest of their team as Sophie radioed them. “We're all okay over here, Eddie. Health wise at least,” She reported, waving the damaged left arm at them so they could get a look at. It didn’t seem too bad to Eckardy, who checked his sensors.

“Great. I think the Hamburgers are still pushing toward those Axis’ ships, so let’s go give ‘em a hand and hit those f***in’ ships if we can,” Eckardy smirked and started off toward the area where the Hamburg and Zarm teams were currently engaged, with Cowboy falling into formation behind him.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

- Team 3 –

As quickly as the warning sign flared up, beam shots began to fly into Irene’s position. She wasn't too focused on her final approach toward Iarocci and saw the newly arrived trio beforehand. After making a steep turn to avoid the beam shots the suit feinted right and evaded Babineaux’s dive shot which was closer and more accurate.

“Wales, we got..” her voice stopped abruptly as someone other than Iarocci sent dozens of streaming bullets to her position. The rate of fire or simply the numbers of tracers suggested something else than Hizack machinegun being used. It scared her as she was clearly being cornered. Worse Iarocci last burst scored on the Dias, effectively making few scorched bruising line in the right shoulder. More shock than actual damage but sent Irene very cross.

Why you…! The red machine dashed forward, gunning the phalanx against Iarocci's Hizack at close range. Just before contact she swapped her beam pistol with saber and lashed out two consecutive slash. One from above against the machinegun, followed by another from below aimed against the Hizack arm. Unconcerned much whether she landed a cut or no, she used the momentum and passed Iarocci before slowing down abruptly. The Dias powerful lower leg thrusters enabled her to stay close to her target. From behind she kept her captive suit in check by putting her lit beam saber nearby.

“Calm down, Titans!” she said coldly after touching the Hizack with the tip of her left handed bazooka. “This might be your last ticket to home so stay still!”

It’s a gamble but she hoped sticking together with this Hizack might put a doubt or two to the other Titans before firing against her. She’ll buy time as much as she could so that Wales and the Nemo team could take care their problem first before dealing with even more problems.

Turned her radio into allies channel Irene reported as calmly as she could, “Kawamura from team three. I got three more Hizack just entering the area, and possibly another hi-mobility Suit. get your things done quickly. they're going to chase the hell out of us very soon!"

Taking no time to respite, Irene fired her left handed clay bazooka twice against Faisal as she got a good angle and acquire lock easily against him and sent one to Babineaux to deter him from doing anything funny. Her sensors still eying on Aaron's Suit, wasn't sure where but possibly a Barzam some distance away.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

- Beta Team –

Nick Te’litha hadn’t followed Wolf Ritter’s team into the midst of Zeon forces, but Wolf Ritter was not the kind of man who surrendered to small hitches. This was a matter that could not be left to chance. Fate, yes, but the Ritters were agents and executors of Fate.

Beta Team had remained largely aloof from the battle around them, having fired some potshots earlier at Kwire Team but otherwise remaining uninvolved. Instead, Wolf led Sven Haksson and Daren Nwosu on a course that doubled back, then moved laterally across Titans lines to bring the trio closer to Gamma Team.

Now Nick’s tiger-striped Barzam X-2 was visible, fighting it out with a pair of Rick Diases. The other X-2 (Ltjg. Faraday, wasn’t it? A nobody in Wolf’s eyes) had apparently maneuvered elsewhere, but the Marasai… that bastard JP Hepburn who had nearly killed Wolf in Gryps shoals, stopped only by Sven’s tireless efforts . Hepburn wasn’t keeping formation with Nick and was apparently just maneuvering.

Wolf brought his team around in a wide arc to approach the Gamma/Team 3 fight from behind, in the direction of Hepburn’s Marasai. He switched to his bazooka and fired without announcement in the general area of Wes and Trask’s mobile suits, but at an angle unnervingly close to Hepburn. Sven and Daren shifted to Wolf’s right flank to anticipate the reaction.

- Nunavut Teams –

The fact of the matter is that a Rick Dias is faster and nimbler than a Hizack, especially a wounded Hizack.

So it was that Irene’s Dias was on top of Iarocci’s battered Hizack in a flash, phalanx Vulcan rounds blazing everywhere.

“No!”

Irene’s first cut struck true, ruining the machine gun and sending partially-molten chunks of it spiraling out into empty space. Iarocci’s instincts were good enough, though, to roll away from the upward slash at the arm. Most of the shoulder shield was lopped away, but at least Iarocci still had a working manipulator.

In another moment, the red MS had blasted past the Hizack. Iarocci slammed his reverse thrusters hard when he became aware of a beam saber he didn’t want to impale himself on. A small indicator sound alerted him to the bazooka barrel pressed to his suit’s backside.

”Calm down, Titans! This might be your last ticket to home so stay still!”

Iarocci, Faisal, Akizawa, and Babineaux all heard the AEUG pilot’s voice; they rolled away from her hasty bazooka rounds, which they recognized as warning shots.

For only one heavy moment, Faisal hesitated. He and his team had largely stopped moving, with Babineaux’s earlier dip giving her a different angle on Irene than Faisal and Akizawa had.

Ah, but an incoming Barzam… That gave Faisal heart. A Barzam was more than a match for a Rick Dias. But he wasn’t about to sit around and wait for it – he was a team leader who took initiative.

“No deal, AEUG!” he snapped, “That man’s already dead anyway!”

Babineaux, situated at an oblique angle, opened fire with her beam rifle just as Faisal finished the sentence. Faisal and Akizawa dashed toward Irene and her captive and each fired bracketing shots around them. Faisal took his heat hawk into his left hand.

Iarocci punched at the linear seat armrest. "Screw you, Faisal!" He turned his Hizack's torso to the left. The left forearm was missing, but there was still the stump of the upper arm. He tried just then to use it like a clamp to pin the bazooka barrel against the Hizack's torso while reaching for his beam saber with the still-intact right hand.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

- Axis Zeon Mudra Detachment Vicinity –
- Bindra Team –

Bindra Team’s MA-mode Gaza units weren’t far behind Mandra Team’s, Lt. Max Ball having given the order to move forward not long before. They took a course over the Kwire and saw Mandra Team split in two, one cutting left and the other continuing ahead of the ships, where AEUG MS were visible.

“Stay on target, all of you. We’re about to hit those AEUG suits hard. Renard and I’ll move ahead for the Two-Bits.”

Two-Bits referred to one of the maneuvers Ball had had his team drill in the time leading up to the Gryps offensive. Two Gazas – Ball and Renard, in this case – would take the lead ahead of the rest of the team and aggressively buzz the target at high speed. The rest of the team would fall in immediately afterward and hit hard in MS mode.

Ball’s and Renard’s MS accelerated to widen the gap with the rest of their team. They angled themselves toward the Hamburg Nemos that were moving forward to engage Zarm Team and support their leader. The Axis pilots held their fire for the moment, preferring not to draw attention just yet.

"Yes, Sir!" Djorn eagerly called his acknowledgement of the orders back to his commanding officer. His grip tightened on his controls and his body fairly hummed with excitement over the chance to really get into this battle.

It took all his self control not to fire at the AEUG mobile suits right away. Only the knowledge that he probably wouldn't hit them and might endanger the brave Axis patriots who were facing them kept him in control.

Still, he had already picked out one of the Nemos and kept his crosshairs on it as well as possible.

He hummed the Axis anthem without realizing it and without closing his radio channel.
Yep...That's Texas in a nutshell. Why just say "f**k you" when you can put it on a flag?

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-Location Unkown–

Derrick Sanders hadn't anticipated this. He and the rest of the Guangdong's MS team were supposed to be sent forward and help reinforce the front line, but a surprise attack by a bunch of Titans soldiers caught all of them off guard. He was separated from the rest of his team, and the minovsky particle density made radio contact useless. It took all he had to dodge the gunfire from the trio of Hizacks that were hot on his tail, firing off a shot or two from his Nemo's Beam Rifle whenever possible. He hadn't kept track of where he was exactly until he noticed a Gaza-C fly by him, coming a little too close for comfort.

It didn't take him long to figure out just where the Axis Zeon MS had come from, as he spotted what looked like two Axis Zeon ships nearby.

"Just my luck," he groused, dodging another spurt of gunfire from his pursuers. "Caught between a rock and a hard place." Bad enough he was separated from his own team, but having gone so deeply into enemy territory? There was unlucky, and then there was just plain unfair.

Took you guys long enough

Back up was always good in Alex's book, especially against Rick Dias looking to hound them while they were busy with the Nemos they were brawling with and a team that was all over the place in terms of effectiveness. But then again they weren't dead yet so they must've been doing something right.

With the trio of Nemos suddenly making a charge to link up with the Nemos, Alex pushed his own engines as well to meet them mid-charge.

Pulling up and towards the lagging Nemo Cannon Alex fired off a quick burst from the machine gun, letting the shield tank a beam as he drew closer. With the distance between the two drawing smaller he pushed the engines harder and braced the Hizack's shield, ready to crash into Mart like the one-eyed battering ram it was.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-new yark team vicinity-

"Wales......got..”

"what?" the AEUG ensign replied as the garbled message came through heavily distorted by the minovsky static, looking over his shoulder to irene's last known position, his eyes widened as he saw her being ganged up on by another three hizacks, with a barzam looming in the distance

swearing he aborted his attack run against criss, passing her hizack with inches to spare as he reduced power to the thrusters and twisted the rick dias around, the muzzle of the bazooka pointed in nunavut team 2's direction.

pausing only to take aim, wales opened fire, sending 4 clay rounds rocketing into the enemy hizack team's flightpath.

-team 3-

despite himself Trask cringed as he saw the beam's from the shoulder cannons tear through the balloons and the incomming marasai, striking its right arm and the lower left leg. letting the suit sail past, he was considering his next move when a warning indicator alerted him to incomming rockets, he juked to the side and looked for the scource of the incomming fire

"oh great.." he muttered to himself as he saw two more barzams comming at them, then looked back at hepburns drifting marasai, he hated the decision he came to, but knew that they needed to reduce enemy numbers fast.

"i take no pleasure in this." he said to himself, letting go of the bazooka and drawing a beam pistol, before pointing it at the marasai and pulling the trigger twice

-Hamburg team-

"yes!" paris exclaimed as her attack sent one gaza-C spiraling and two others into a retreat, capitalising on it she increased the thrust level, firing another shot at the one still chasing kou as she got close enough to be considered in formation with her team leader

"sorry i'm late sir, we got split up" she announced over the radio "al's with me, no idea what happened to kite..." she trailed off as she surveyed the area, looking for any glimpse of the forth nemo, instead she saw the bindra team, and they looked to be up to something given how they were flying in pairs and not rushing in

"hey..team 2" she called on another channel "we might need some more help here, like right now." feeling a surge of dread, she couldn't help but think that these reinforcements would be far more experienced than the ones they'd been fighting so far

The entire bridge crew breathe a sigh of relief when the Mandra team flew over them. Lt. Delta almost felt embarrassed for firing the return flares for his Gazas but instead instructed his operator to alert the hanger crew for incoming.
A few seconds later the Bindra team also flew over allowing Lt. Delta to become more relaxed, snapping his fingers to a crew man, he ordered tea as he leaned back in his seat.

-Kwire Team -

The remaining three Gazas were returning to their transport ship when Lt. Emmers' sensors picked up IFF signals from two Gaza squads.

"About time reinforcements showed up. Nix my last transmission. We'll all ma--" interrupted by brief blip on his HUD, he knew whatever it is it's not a friendly and it's in the vicinity of their ships.

"Aldrich approach and engage. Either that thing is lost or it's a new type of suit. Kell follow me, we'll hit him around back"

Aldrich speeds up and approaches Sanders' Nemo in mobile suit form head on firing 2 quick shots and deploying a beam saber in it's left hand.

Derrick cursed as the two shots from the enemy Gaza-C had taken out his shield and most of his arm's outer casing along with it.

A quick scan of his HUD told him all he needed to know; two bogeys were closing in on him-- and fast! Gritting his teeth, he maneuvered his rifle arm so that the beam rifle was pointing backwards from his left side, and fired off four shots while he continued to move; he had to find a way out... He just had to!

"First mistake..." Orsino snickered as Hard AE aborted his attack. He re-oriented himself to look at the retreating nemos. It looked like Stamble was too focused on Criss to notice him. Before the AEUG pilot could see Orsino coming at him, he gunned his engine and rushed him saber-first "...LAST MISTAKE!"

Criss meanwhile mentally facepalmed at her own mistake. Headshots might be fatal to humans, but not mobile suits. She let the response shot go wild as a miss, then aimed again, this time tracking the Nemo Cannon.

Marco meanwhile looked at Orsino running off. He contemplated calling out to stop him, but Thibaut's beam shots cut him short. He spun away to dodge them, letting back a single shot in response.

-Hamburg Team-

Kou managed to avoid the sudden rush, abandoning his shield to take the shots. "Everyone, regroup. Let them get away." He drew his beam saber and rushed the oncoming mobile armor. "But make sure to take out anyone who doesn't run!"

-Mandra team-

With a rallying cry of "SEIG ZEON!" Brutus lead the charge into the Buxuro team's lines, firing wildly at his enemies.

"Sieg Zeon!"' he heard Brutus cry as he opened fire.Still in Mobile Armor mode Astor's Gaza-C swerved around the floating remains of an allied mobile suit, freshly shot down.It charged forward and fired off a few shots at the Titan's mobile suits, and then quickly blasted off to the left, spiraling horizontally and sporadically, hoping to draw away the enemy mobile suit's attention, so that another could land a shot on an enemy Marasai.
A few shots from the enemy rifle came close, one barely nicked his Gaza-C's side."This is to dangerous with my back turned to them",Astor though as he noticed some debree he could use as a shield. He hid behind the second nearest piece he could find, and transformed into mobile suit mode, drawing his beam saber, hoping that at least one would follow him so that he could ambush. "I'll wait 30 seconds, can't leave the main forces for to long, less they consider me a coward". He activated his verniers on their lowest output as to bring the debree a bit forward.

“Oh, Frak it!” yelled Irene when Babineaux beam shot bolted into the Dias right skirt armor. She was making a way to evade it but two beam fire from another angle slowed her reaction time. The beam hit her hard, the linear seat haven't settle down when beam fire from the rest of the Nunavut team dangerously bracketing her along with Iarocci’s Hizack.

Don’t they have a sense of camaraderie or what?

The Titans’ answer didn’t entirely surprise her but she never expected it to be so quick. Damage sensors showed nothing serious which baffled her. Peeking through a video display she witnessed the odd angle of the burnt scorched mark in the skirt armor. The beam didn’t land precisely and the thick slab of armor plating in the skirt stopped it from wrecking anything underneath.

Meanwhile Iarocci hastily struggled to clamp the bazooka using his somewhat intact left arm, he too pulled a beam saber with another. Irene smirked and taunted the man, “Hey, I'm curious why your buddies don't just shot me through you, it's way simpler you know?"

The Dias struggled for control and lashed out its beam saber twice against the Hizack’s backpack to render it out of service than outright destruction. She didn’t want it to blow up right in front of her. The bazooka slipped but the barrel was damaged. She fired it nonetheless when it somehow gained a lock at the most forward unit, Faisal either to score a hit, deter him or simply to scare Iarocci out from his cockpit.

Pulling a beam gun to replace the missing bazooka the Dias fired twice left handed against Babineaux. The first rather hastily but the second one was more precise. Her thrusters cooled down enough and ready for departure if things get too ugly.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

That is not how a team leader acts, Jules thought with annoyance as he watched Brutus's Gaza charge forward, firing like a madman. If he'd done that during training and combat practice, I would've noticed..

No matter. Jules decided to follow Astor's lead, using a chunk of debris to provide cover as his Gaza-C transformed into mobile suit mode. While mobile armor mode was fast and deadly, piloting a mobile suit felt much more natural to him. It brought back the best and worse memories to the One Year War, but Jules still felt a sense of elation as he returned to combat.

Emerging from the debris almost as soon as he'd hidden behind it, Jules aimed his knuckle buster, hands ready to both pull the trigger and/or fire the suit's thrusters to dodge an incoming shot.

Aiming as quickly as possible, Jules fired three preliminary shots to distract the enemy as he set his sights on a single Marasai. He was going in for the kill.
Fear the power of the skirted suit. Fear it.

"Lt. Allister Grant, launching"

After receiving the all clear, Grant's Marasai accelerates to a forward position near the Kirov and awaits for his team. "Once we form-up we'll make our way and assist Buxuro team. They're deep in it with Axis but I'd expect anything else to pop up," Grant relays to his team as he transmits Buxuro's location.

"Roger," Jason mutters, taking a deep breath and looking at a zoom in view of Grace's suit on his monitor. He maneuvers his Marasai onto the catapult deck to await the green light.

"Ltjg. Jason Drossel, ready"

Pris snapped a reply to Ball's commands, "Roger that!" Flexing and stretching her fingers a few times before placing her hands back at the controls.

"This almost a good and old fashion Zeon gangbang," counting up portions of at least three or four Gaza-C teams, including her own team, converging. "You don't miss them to you realize they're gone," now wishing her mobile suit had a heat hawk and heavier shoulder padding.

In mobile suit mode, Pris' Gaza-C dropped from its current location before rocketing into formation with the rest of her squad. She took low position in the formation with Matthew at the head of their foursome following behind the mobile armor mode Gaza-Cs of Ball and Renard.

"... Djorn?! Is that you singing?" Realizing that she wasn't hearing music in her head, let alone the Axis anthem, but that it was droning over her channel.
Hmm. Luke, this Gundam reminds me of a puzzle.

Re: Episode 28 - Passage to Tartarus

-Team 2-

“Great.*** the Hamburgers are still pushing toward those Axis’ ships, so let’s go give ‘em a hand ***_ztt** those f***in’ *drrtt can,”

Eckardy's transmission came in with some static but it was pretty clear to Bernard.

"Roger. I'm on it," he replied as he sped off in full thrust to Hamburg team's area of operations. His Dias B-type was faster so he would go on ahead and plow through disrupting anything going on. Checking that all power had been shut off to his damaged hand, he armed both hip missile launchers and readied his beam pistol.

-Kwire Team -

"A Nemo!" Ens. Aldrich cried out as he hit the reverse thrusters and verniers to stop and veer left to avoid 3 shots but the 4th clipped the Gaza's hip causing him to spin uncontrollably.

"An AEUG suit," Emmers murmurs after he hears Aldrich's transmission. Looking at the right side of his monitor and seeing shots being traded between Aldrich and the Nemo unnerved him a bit since he wasn't in position.
Ens. Kell who was behind Lt. Emmers darted in after the Nemo without permission. The sight of Aldrich in trouble crumbled whatever discipline the man had. The two had been in the same academy class. Kell fired 3 shots at Sander's suit.

"Dammit Kell!" Emmers barked in his comm. He also noticed that the Nemo's trajectory was away from the transport ship, probably trying to get away. His Gaza was in no condition to pick a fight but if it hurries the Nemo out of the area then the faster they could get repairs. Banking right, Lt. Emmers hastily aims and fires a pair of shots at the Nemo.
