Re: Interest Check
Yeah, unfortunately the Gundam fan community seems to be much less active than it used to be, which makes actually running a successful RP very difficult. As I've mentioned in the past, I'd be game for just about anything RP-wise, but personally if we're gonna do UC, I would much rather it be a post-UC 0100 game than anything else, because so little of that setting has been explored outside of F91, V and the increasingly goofy Crossbone mangas. So there's a lot more potential for some interesting stories there.
I'd be willing to run a game, but only if enough people are interested in participating to make the effort worthwhile.

Re: Interest Check
That makes sense. I think I'm going to go back to my idea of a Victory Gundam Roleplay, lots to explore, lots of freedom in the things we could do and where we could go. However if you're willing to run a game then I'm certainly on board.Dark Duel wrote:Yeah, unfortunately the Gundam fan community seems to be much less active than it used to be, which makes actually running a successful RP very difficult. Re: Interest Check
I wish you luck Chaotic!
Also, hey everyone! I broke down and decided to make a Zeta Gundam roleplay on another site. I know one was done here and it was super incredibly awesome, and that no one here asked for one but I made one anyway because it was a spur of the moment kind of thing.
https://www.fanfiction.net/forum/Zeta-G ... ny/190185/
There's not a rule against posting links to other sites, right?
Anyway, even if you're not interested (again apologies for a Gryps RP out of nowhere...) please let me know what you think and if there's anything I should change/improve on. FF.net isn't the best site in the world to do such a thing on but it's what I'm familiar with and I didn't know how to make a roleplay here.

Re: Interest Check
'Evergreen Group' sounds awesome. But 'Grimly Sheep' sounds like something straight out of a random name generator. It has a pretty standard Zeta rpg story, an AEUG battlegroup and a Titans battlegroup eventually entangle and become rivals e.g The Argama/Alexandria.

Re: Interest Check
Grimly Sheep is actually a reference to something, that and I thought it sounded cool. I'm glad you like Evergreen Group though. Thanks for the input overall!

Re: Interest Check
Hello everyone! It's been...three years since I put this interest check up.
I appreciate everyone who replied and I apologize for being so indecisive regarding putting an actual roleplay up. Taking pole results and then making a forum, only to delete it shortly afterwards due to anxiety regarding the whole thing. I'd just like to apologize for all that.
However I still have an interest in running a Gundam Roleplay, which is why I'm posting here again.
Taking into consideration the rather limited activity of the Gundam fandom in regards to roleplays as of late, I tried to put together a Gundam scenario that would be accessible to fans of the various series and attract as many people as possible. What I came up with is a sort of Turn-A style scenario. Where all the series (or most of them with some exceptions) took place in a single timeline with the each era ending in destruction of some kind and leading into the next.
The roleplay takes place a few millennia after the last great cataclysm that gave birth to the O.C or "Oblivion Calender" era (not to be confused with Elder Scrolls stuff). Humanity has recovered technologically back to the point of the 1990s but is still scattered and dis-unified.
They lack the technology to build mobile suits, but buried underground perfectly preserved are weapons, devices, vessels, and mobile suits from all the previous eras. Why they are so perfectly preserved is unknown, but many people have begun to dig up and use them leading to conflict and turmoil...

Here is the link to the forum. I would have made it here, but I wasn't sure the kind of reception it would receive or if anyone would be interested.
If anyone sees this I'd love to hear your thoughts regarding the roleplay and if you're interested or not.

Re: Interest Check
It's too bad my old hard drive died. Someday I'd like to show everyone the Trinary's weird plans we had for TftF going through Sentinel, ZZ... and some very early-stage planning for a 2nd NZ War finale. I basically have to hope Red or Fritz still have copies of the last versions I sent them.

I'd like to get in touch with you and Red. I've still got my Skype account with you guys in my contacts list, but you can also email me.
This is all weird for a hundred reasons, but literally just a few days ago I was talking to a friend about how we came up with a few ideas that ended up being eerily similar to some stuff that was in Unicorn.

Re: Interest Check
If you're an old RPG section veteran passing by for memory's sake, drop me a PM sometime, let me know how best to contact you. I'm interested in chatting over this nearly decade-long endeavor we were all part of. The RPG Trinary also has new plans in the works, believe it or not.

Nice to see you haven't changed too much, O'Regan. Same goes for you, Wedge.
Shameful truth, I have seen G-Saviour and...I kinda enjoy it. It absolutely fails as a Gundam entry, no doubt, but as a cheesy early 2000s sci-fi B-movie...I love it.

Why would I mature after five years? If anything I regressed into even worse behavior.
Anyways, I'm gonna hit up CAIB and Zaku on the facing books and I think I have GM ace and one of the twins on Xbox.
What's gonna really suck is not being able to add images in here without a link. WHAT IS THIS THE BROZE AGE?
@CHRIS I WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT! Oh wait, tags don't work here either. #killmenow.... ZOINKS
