I used Mark Simmons' picture of the Hi-Nu and a Strike Freedom MSiA for reference, but otherwise drew it by hand.

And thanks. =D

And that MS looks cool ShadowCell... way better than alot of Gundams already drawn.

*scornfully looks at G Gundam*

And hand drawn just makes it seem so much better!

Don't worry Shadowcell... we can force Okawara to draw a more Anime-usable version (Not adding anything just cleaning it up to look like it should be in CCA), I mean look at SEED Destiny... he OWES us.

These five are from that monstrouslike SEED fic I've got going. Not gonna say anything other than that. One of these days I'll need to redo the Calypso.

These two were traced from Crossbone Gundam X1 lineart and I added all this other crap on.

I've asked alot of people this so would you help with our Looking for volunteer's thread?

*MOD EDIT*
This is a great opportunity to explain the PM button. This button allows a user to send a personal message to another user regarding anything they wish. Spamming each Mecha Design and Fanart contributor is an imbecilic thing to do.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is: 1.) It's okay to ask once... maybe twice for Mecha Design and Fanart contributors to do work or assist, but 2.) learn how to acquire enough common sense to know what you're doing is annoying. Oh, and 3.) Keep doing this and you'll get slammed.

I want this to be a learning experience for others. The PM button is your friend. Be an idiot, and you'll be the next perfect example to learn something from.

A Muramasa blasterr the size of an anti-ship sword... SWEET!!! :D

I had been under the impression that the Muramasa blaster was always more or less the size of an anti-ship sword.

This, Bandai, is why you need to freaking send Crossbone to our teeming shore already. My soul yearns for it.

Anyways, as long as I have my own thread here, fun with character lineart!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/S ... jibril.jpg

I'd like to think I'm capable of repairing Hisashi Hirai's more WTFy choices in character design. I know he's not the same Lord Djibril if he's not wearing his pajamas and lipstick but still.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/S ... opland.jpg

On the other hand, we all wished the President of the United States would dress this badassly. Yeah, I stole the idea from Wong Yun Fat, but you know what, Domon gave him the God Finger, what's he going to do about it?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/S ... lRonah.jpg

Dorel, from an abortive fanfic. He still looks like a girl. I guess he always will. You're too freaking pretty, Dorel.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/S ... hareux.jpg

Zabine, from an abortive fanfic. He looks like a man. Even with his girly long hair. SEED and DESTINY made me dreadfully miss this concept of males actually looking like males.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/S ... aidNou.jpg

Based on some fanart and what I've heard about Crossbone, this would be my best guess at what the new and rather maimed Seabook looks like. I think it's more or less accurate. I hope.

And in order to keep the mechaliness going...

Oh hey wow look, I, like, updated.

Behold! Another reason why I don't have a girlfriend.

Yes, folks, gone are the days where some obnoxious child with a Christ complex can pilot a veritable god of death into battle and merely disable mobile suits. Kira, to quote Donald Trump, "you're fired." Now then, Mr Yazan Gable, your new machine is waiting.

I tried to emulate the famous epilepsy-inducing shininess of SEED mecha here, so if any of you randomly collapse to the ground twitching and drooling, uh, it's not my fault. Really.

I kind of feel like I followed the Bob Ross School of Art on this one...so I guess the whole thing is one big happy accident.

Oh yeah, and coloring in Photoshop with a touchpad was harder than I thought it would be.

It really pretty much is just a crappy drawing of the Strike Freedom Gundam, colored crappily in Photoshop. The wings came out wonky, some of the lines came out wonky, the knees came out really wonky, some of the coloring came out wonky, but overall, crappiness and wonkiness aside, I think it came out alright.

I like it. Yazan can get the groin-grabbing goodness going in the Cosmic Era. Even if it looks wonky, the Titans make everything gold.

Titan colors can make anything look good.

Why do people always mention Yazan and groin-grabs? I'm confused.

In episode 26 ("The Ghost Of Zeon") at the start of the episode, while his Gaplant was being fixed (to deal with a blind spot) Yazan talked to some rookie named Ado. In the process, he moved up to Ado and grabbed his crotch for reasons I can't remember.

Too bad the random image threads are no more as you could simply point him to that great moment in Gundam history.

Why IS it that Titans colors seem to increase the badassery of any MS they are placed on anyway?

Once more with feeling!

I don't think this one came out as well in terms of coloring...but I like it nevertheless.

And my little friend Shinn approves.

Don't you, Shinn?

Y'know...I don't think I could think of a scarier-looking Gundam to look out the window and see.

EDIT: And "Umpimp My Gundam" is half of why Rei gets fresh cinnamon rolls and the rest of the mods have to run down to the donut shop every morning to split a stale bear claw.

Excellent work ShadowCell! Like Draco, I dont think there could be a scarier Gundam in a creepy situation like that.

When I read all that, crumbs couldn't help fall out of my mouth from my sub as I was laughing.

Great job, I loveit, so much that I exclude a space.

Oh, see, now you made her angry.

Tried to follow the Mac Hall coloring style enumerated in said tutorial. Unfortunately, Ian McConville is an art major with talent and skill and years of practice, and I'm a guy with Photoshop and nothing to do on a Friday afternoon, so there's some disparity between our final products. Oh well.

For whatever reason, that image has corrupted my love of the MP-5K, and it'll take me a few weeks to like it again.

Gun-loving-ness aside... it looks pretty good. It isn't horribile, but it isn't perfect either.
