Anyways, thanks for the comments so far everyone.

Meant the Impact, it has a curious design with the Turn A bits :)

The GM Tanker's parts really don't mix well, and I think you're gonna need a lot of time in paint re-coloring the parts to make it look half decent.

With some suggestions made in the Franken Contest Thread, I decided to recolor the Valor Gundam Impact:

Standard --

Beam Rifle --

Equipment Set 1 --
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... apons2.jpg

Equipment Set 2 --
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... apons3.jpg

While I was at it, I also did a little messing around with parts, and I'm quite surprised at how well the parts fit:

Booster Set --

Full Armor --
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... pactFA.jpg

Full Armor + Booster --
http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... FA-Bst.jpg

Updated stats to show the new sets of equipment:

RX-999-I Valor Gundam Impact
height: 17.6 meters
weight: 79 tons with each equipment set (average), 60 tons without
powerplant: ultracompact fusion reactor, power rating unknown
propulsion: unknown
equipment/design features: Panoramic Cockpit; Multiple hardpoints to dock Booster option or Full Armor option
fixed armaments: 2x beam sabers, stored on backpack recharge racks, hand carried in use; 2x vulcan guns, mounted on head; beam launchers, mounted on forearms under covers
optional armaments: beam rifle; see other equipment sets
equipment set 1: beam bazooka; shield; 3-barrel beam gun, mounted on left forarm
equipment set 2: MMP-80 machinegun; shield; heavy gatling gun, mounted on shield
Booster equipment set: modified shield; 2x beam knife, stored in shield, hand carried in use; long beam rifle

Now to submit this into the contest! Feedback is appreciated. :D

Near the bottom again!? An update is needed! Here are some Frnakens I made to practice with before I made the Valor Gundam Impact:

GM Bombarder -- A mid-range support unit I made about a few months ago to support my GM Ziel or my Valor Gundam Impact. This thing is quite old actually, and I simply want to post it here to get some ideas on what to add.

Basic form -- http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... barder.jpg

Full loadout -- http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... eapons.jpg

Serpent Gundam -- the result of when I wondered how a Serpent would look if Gundam-ized...

Basic form -- http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... Gundam.jpg

With weapons -- http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... eapons.jpg

Here is a new one I made:

Nu Gundam Hi-Mo Concept -- http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... otypeV.jpg

With most weapons included -- http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g101/ ... eapons.jpg

Feedback is appreciated! :D

They're good, but they don't look much different from their base designs. It took me awhile to find where you edited stuff. Still, its good stuff.

Odd to say, but the Bombarder basic form looks better to me than with the weapons loadout you chose.
I can almost see the Serpent Gundam being used in some fanfic where one of the Gundam pilots needs a Gundam, but alas none exist, so the refit Serpent shown here is used instead.

Add the fin funnels to the Hi-Mo Nu and it will be all set. (Set for me to Gundamjack that is. )

Bad Wingnut! No Gundamjacking other mods' Gundams unless they're guarded!

Red's comments!

The GM Bombarder really is unimpressive to me. It took me a moment to see that things were added. All in all, it's nothing special. With weapons, I think it looks worse. It ought to have a handheld weapon like a machine gun or something.

The Serpent Gundam is interesting, it's nicely done and looks good. Nothing really wrong with it, but again, it doesn't impress me much. Weapon wise, I'd rather see it with the gatling gun the Serpent used.

And as for the Nu Gundam Hi-Mo Concept, again, it took me a moment to see that things were changed. The changed shoulders really don't look much different to me, although adding the backpack-thingys was nice. The crotch thing I think wasn't needed, and I think it would look better with the normal part of the Nu in it's place. However, the lineart is well done and with weapons it looks very good.

Another update! I got spare time today since I got a day off from school, so here are two unimpressive designs that I worked on today. They are still WIP's:

Heavy Gundam MkII --

With Booster --

Super Zaku Crusher (upgraded version of my original Zaku Crusher) --

Close Combat Mode/ MA Mode --

That just looks too funny to be taken seriously on the battle field. That is until the beams start flying that is, than everyone will be like "Kill the freak MS!"
The FA Mk.II looks solid enough, but I don't quite think that the Tallgeese boosters would fit properly with the equipment already on the MS. An overlapping effect if you will.

Comments... brought to you by red!

The Heavy Gundam Mark II, is really, unimpressive to me. Aside from a few fairly minor changes, it still looks like the basic Heavy Gundam. It's nicely done with no obvious editing marks, but the design is just... eh.. The boosters I think are interesting and work decently with it, but I don't think the Wing-type boosters go well with the UC design.

The Super Zaku Crusher is um... odd. The basic machine looks rough in some places, like where you added new parts, and that back-thingy really makes it look kind of weird. The Close Combat/MA mode is just... it doesn't look right in anyway. The editing looks rough to me and I simply don't like the look of it.

I'm not a big fan of the upgraded Zaku Crusher. It's got a bad case of Bigbackpackitis that plagues SEED.

Ok... I have run out of ideas as of late, so anyone wanna give me a challenge with various suits? (note: I'm still not moving on to regular lineart yet since I dont have Photoshop)

BIG CHALLENGE FOR YA!

I have a challenge for ya: a commando version of the RGM-79SP GM Sniper II with some additional armor (FA-78-1 Gundam Full Armor Type), a grenade rack (Guncannon II) and in red and black colors. I hope this is more able to do.

Signed, ZGMF-X28A Nu-Liberty.

Here is a random idea I had once but quickly forgot to do because of other things. The “i-Gundam”. I think the name should give you a clue to what it’s supposed to be. A Gundam styled like an i-Pod. For parts, I can only say, use your imagination.

Hehe... thanks for the idea Heretic. Now I bring to you (drum roll...) The i-Gundam!

*shakes head* What will they think of next? On second thought, I don't want to know. Still, if Apple made one of those for sale in the US, I might get one.
