well, it is not newtype powers in any sense, but rather I see it more as the activation fo the DRAGOON system. think about it, even in the old Gundam SEED, when Mwu meets Rau, the flash activates, and Mwu immediately attacks with the DRAGOONs. note how consistent this observation is, that everytime ...

well, my intepretation of the dynames would be that it goes into hiding before the battle, then fire the opening shots and just pretty much tries to hold its position while fending off enemies. not so much as a sniper, but more of as a guard

actually, I see that phrase as more of a reassurance to Char that the imcomplete Zeong was working fine than actually saying that the legs were 100% useless

that final line in your quote turns out to be chinese, rather than japanese *which I can read* "there's also an alternate explanation, where Anahelm Electronics staff have changed the RX and GP prefix to α, β, etc." if possible, could you provide us the webpage where you found these?...

well, given that the Zeong was developed to go head-to-head with the RX-78 series that the EFSF fielded, the quick summary done by others does suggest that the Perfect Zeong would be better at this intended role than the Zeong. *and also, the Perfect Zeong had a gigantic sword for melee combat* plus...

hmm, any possible explanations by AoZ? I nearly wanted to suggest a lack in beam rifles or that the tech has not been 100% perfected, but I pretty much immediately ruled that out

well, assuming that the buster and duel were returned after the war, it isn't a stretch to also suggest that perhaps ZAFT gave the EA the duel equipped with the assault shrould as a symobl of goodwill either that, or the duel has recorded data on its assault shroud, and EA simply took it and reverse...

IIRC, Hizacks which uses the zaku machinegun kai are usually deployed in areas where the use of beam weapons are not advisible, such as inside the colony, at highly populated areas and so on. It seems that the choice of using the machinegun over the beam rifle would then be more of regulations rathe...

Let's quote the Stargazer model manual: Voiture Lumiere The interplanetary propulsion system of the Stargazer, the Voiture Lumiere, uses the strong light pressure that resulted from a special energy conversion as propelling power. The conversion process causes an interruption to the spatial structu...

well, the propellant tanks were articulated to a certain extent, both the Sazabi's and the Alpha Aizeru's, so they could also serve a dual purpose, the other being an assist for AMBAC maneuvers

I have to differ there. The Destiny was fast because of the Wings of Light. The SF had the same system, but the original freedom did not have it. Therefore, the SF was more of a match for the Destiny in speed than the Freedom. wait, since when did the S.Freedom ever have WoL? as far as I know, the ...

well, if we're talking about the Gundam universe, the standard mechs aren't exactly tall or big, just about as tall as a standard fighter is long, at 18m. anyway, the main problem about bringing them into reality is a totally wrong concept of the battlefield in which they would excel. as stated more...

hmm, looks like everyone forgot the shadow effect caused by the WoL  this could help the Destiny get up close to the target without worrying too much about the returning ranged shots, which is why I assume Shinn loves to use the ASS thrust-dash attack. anyway, saying that all its weapons have t...

usually its possible to fix the broken part with a little bit of superglue and skill, so you do not actually need to blow off a few more bucks on replacements

add a little sanding and you won't even see the fault line

I totally do not see the point in arguing over the minor details about how the beam sabers destory zaku armour, be it cutting or vapourising. as we all agree that the more particles there are, the higher the damage, so the shape of the beam saber should only be about the placement of that bulge whic...

beam =/= plasma. heck, even graham himself implied this fact, by the fact that he recognised the GN beam saber than the exia was wielding as a beam saber, and at the same time his own saber is a plasma saber. if beam = plasma, then he would have made the reference to a plasma saber instead of a beam...

I suggest we totally dump this line of thought and start a new one, since we're pretty divided over this issue, and none of us majored in minovinsky physics  that said, I noticed that the shape of the sabers are actually rather relevant to their specific roles. For example, the Nu Gundam has 2 ...
