Re: The Official Gundam Hathaway Anime Thread Mk I
Given how many other projects have been postponed beyond 2024 , it would be nice to see the second film released this year.

Baybull and Buldy
The Layzer of SPT Layzner is obviously a very powerful SPT, but what about the Baybull and Buldy? Obviously as prototypes the units loss put Grados in a difficult position The vague timeline of the first part of the series suggests that the SPT trio would aide in the Earth invasion, and there simply...

Gradosian Terror Striker
So in Layzner is it ever established why controlled drone mecha doesn't take more precedence over piloted units? Skull Gunners are used in 1996 and Terminator Police follow in 1999; both units are shown to be manoeuvrable and sturdy in combat, so why does Grados keep using piloted units? Are the Dro...

Re: Capabilities of the Turn A Gundam
Thanks , I'll follow this going forward.
As for the Mountain Cycles themselves , are they manmade mountains or did they form naturally over the units? Because if the mountains are natural that would take quite a lot longer than what seems to be implied.

Re: Bang Brave Bang Bravern
Definitely they've set up a lot of interesting directions for the plot to go.
Even now with it seems like the plot will get a lot more intense now.
Even now with

The main characters traveling to a devastated Tokyo and then possibly a post apocalyptic Earth

Underrated GM Custom" [/quote]Err, do you recall which episode has the Wodom's armor blocking a beam? All the points I mentioned above were kinetic projectiles. When the Turn-A's beam rifle hits it in the 2nd episode is just barely grazes it, in a "singed their hair" kind of way..[/qu...

Re: Capabilities of the Turn A Gundam
Granted the deliberately vague history makes things muddled, but does anybody else think the Wodom maybe post dates the Sumo? Both were excavated from the Moon, but the Wodom is far larger than the Sumo and has far superior beam blocking armor. Maybe some point in history had humanity restart the MS...

Re: The proliferation of coordinator tech in Cosmic Era
Just when was the Earth Alliance formed? Was it before or after the start of the Cosmic Era? If they weren't organized into a world government yet, that would also hamper the ability to keep Coordinator Projects under wraps.

Re: The proliferation of coordinator tech in Cosmic Era
There isn't really much information on this in the anime, Upon checking out the episode on George Glenn (I have Crunchyroll and they have the HD Remaster so the scenes with Glenn are now added to ep 15 , so if there is any missing content , sorry but this is the only version I have access to), It se...

Re: Bang Brave Bang Bravern
The darker part of the plot may be getting more dominant now, so hopefully they at least keep it like that for a while, because as dark as the plot is getting adding too much comedy now will create an inconsistent tone, of course that's been part of the series from the start. I'm not against the com...

Re: The Official Gundam SEED FREEDOM Mecha Thread Mk I
Thanks , I remember seeking out the Forbidden Vortex (Which as Yazi has said is identical to the Forbidden Blue), but I missed the Dagger. It is neat that the CE verse actually added a lot of the MSV is official sequel series.

Re: The Official Gundam SEED FREEDOM Anime Thread Mk I
The last couple of chapters have really ramped up. The Eclipse unit being a deterrent to show what would be possible, Antifactis being made up of Half Coordinators who were manipulated into fighting ZAFT with their own old units by the Atlantic Federation, and are attempting to nuke the Atlantic bas...

Re: Bang Brave Bang Bravern
This episode really ended up taking a turn for the dramatic Tokyo is devastated, and who knows about the rest of the world, and all it is played quite seriously . So it really seems to be going more for ZZ in mixing comedy and drama, and this episode actually did it a lot better, as it started out l...

Re: Freeden II - Beam Deflection Field
True, I've read that some kits do have weapons that never actually appear in animation, granted there could be several factors in that, the model and animation units had miscommunication, the show was cut short, or maybe the model is based on a earlier drat that had some weapons removed in the final...

So would this actually be the first animated appearance of the GAT-01A1 Dagger? It only seems to have been in Manga and MSV before.

Re: The Official Gundam SEED FREEDOM Mecha Thread Mk I
Its great to finally see the full range of different units in the movie. Unsurprisingly almost everyone gets either their own Gundam or their own custom MS (in this case the main characters seem to have several of each) In particular Its nice to see upgraded units to the Duel and Buster, especially ...

Re: Spreading Minovsky Particles
While the N-Jammers are obviously the CE's version of Minovsky Particles, they at least give a more concrete explanation as to how they work (that being said the admittedly few earthbound locations we see in SEED don't seem to have any issues with energy).

Re: Capabilities of the Turn A Gundam
There always seemed to be some Gundam AU's that fit better with the "Black History" of countless conflicts. Gundam X always seemed like it could really be the end of the Universal Century with it's focus upon Newtype Phenomenon (Using Newtypes themselves not some AU Expy), Plus there's the...

Kaina of The Great Snow Sea Builders
Kaina largely isn't a mech show until later on in the story, so is their any more detail on the "Builder" robot that's used by Valghia? It seems to be something of a lost technology like in Turn A Gundam (or for another Nihei work Blame!), but for a "Builder" unit it seems to hav...
