I dunno, I think it was pretty typical of Zeon. The Remnants threw one last big tantrum, dealing meaningless damage to the Federation while annihilating their own irreplaceable manpower worldwide. As usual, their only real victory in the whole mess was murdering a whole lot of defenseless civilians.
