still rooting for either Turn-A, Hazel (preferrably with HRUDUDU and Primrose :D), or maybe even a Plan303 Ex-S "Deep Striker"

this is a VERRYYY distant possibility i know, but maybe an MG Dendrobium would see the light of day too :D

If anything, I would be more worried that the Stargazer displays HTML code when it first boots up. i watched the scene again, and it seems to me that Stargazer's OS is an analogue of UNIX/Linux and other non-Windows type Os. selene may have put the OS in "debug" mode, where the interface ...

to add to that, just look at how well the hildolfr did against a group of zakus. yes it got sacked when the MSes went in close, but it was so manoeuverable it can actually do circles around the zakus. it could've even been salvageable and loaded up on the komusai again if only there was equipment fo...

Re: Macross - BDS, BDI, quasi-psycommu?

Actually that was the repercussion of all the Gs he was pulling. He was literally being crushed against his pilot's chair. Hence since his arms were folded in front of him they were crushed into his stomach causing him to puke blood. If you watch the whole sequence in slow motion it is really bruta...

hmmm i dont think Guld really did those hand and leg movements in actual, we never see him move from his zen meditation pose anytime the camera shot is focused on him in the YF-21 cockpit. it's all in his mind, he's just visualizing it IMO ;) well, they are similar systems in that pilot's thoughts a...

on the topic of ALICE: the explanations so far as to how ALICE works does not categorically state that it would develop a unique... "personality", for lack of a better term, depending on the pilot it is working with. the way i understand it, ALICE is an AI that has the capacity to learn on...

from what i have tried, at least for HG 1/144 scale, all striker packs (at least the backpacks) can be mounted on either the strike, strike e, or akatsuki. as you've mentioned, shoulder attachments presents a problem to the strike e's or akatsuki's shoulders.

*this is what happens when bandai and sunrise starts retconning technical info and specs * Here's my simple take on the issue: for kits: Yes the Strikes and Skatsuki CAN swap/equip packs for the actual animation (NOT based on the kit info itself): No evidence seems to categorically say the Stri...

@valkyriepilot: Personally, I'd prefer an MG ORX-005 Gaplant TR-5 "Fiver" oh yes how can i forget that one hehehe... hmmm a Penelope Gundam or Xi Gundam would be interesting as well... but wouldn't exactly fit the bill of a "landmark" MS (titular, has been animated and has long ...

why don't Bandai go out with a bang and release a really big MG?? nightingale is a good bet, since hi-nu has just been released; what better way than a "rival" unit for it?

but my personal bets?

Hazel-Rah Second Form
Double X w/ G-Falcon
Plan 303 Deep Striker

how're those for BIG?

which means that its better to have a bulked up ms like the zz to properly wield a massiver launcher type weapon than a comparatively skinny ms. true, a skinny ms will have a hard time hauling around a big weapon, say something twice or more it's mass. but i think proper AMBAC design can help offse...

actually, WEIGHT is not an issue in space, but MASS is. after all Newton also came up with the Law of Inertia - loosely defined, an object will resist any change in state of motion of a force that is applied to it, and this resistance is directly related to the object's mass. the more mass the objec...

although many consider macross 2 as a flunk (but i found it to be a really interesting, albeit alternative, macross story), the VFs in that series were quite good. i remember during space battle scenes, the VF-2SS had these bit-like weapons deployed around them for additional firepower. although it ...
