My bad, I must have mixed-up the Zwei and Drei. Anyway, yes, the Zwei has no shield.

The Eins' GN launcher reminds me of the FAZZ's large hyper mega cannon.

The HG kit for Eins has the GN Launcher on the right side of the backpack, not the shoulder. Zwei's Buster Sword also appears to be attached to the right side of the backpack as well as Drei's Shield Pod. Only the GN launcher of the Eins is connected to its backpack. Looking at the prototype HG kit of the Throne Zwei, it seems to have 8 GN Fangs, 4 on each waist binder.

I'm assuming that the GN shield pod of the Drei carries missiles and/or an extra GN beam saber.

Is the GN launcher of the Eins connected to the backpack or the right shoulder?

As shown in the HG kit, the Eins requires its GN beam rifle to use the GN launcher.

I have never seen a company ofiicially state what part of the mecha super genre that the mech production they would be creating would be part of.
They are in the Sunrise Robots Complete File Volume 1 - Real Robots Version book. ISBN4-8124-0660-9.
