Re: Would it be possible to shoehorn Game of Thrones into a.
There's a difference between calling something a Duchy or Principality and having the name mean anything to the overall plot. Zeon could have been called the Frajabulousity of Zeon and it wouldn't have made a lick of difference. Westeros being a feudal society is actually important and influences e...

Re: Would it be possible to shoehorn Game of Thrones into a.
Well, Sunrise did the Romance of the Three Kindoms in Gundam SD style so making Gundam of Thrones is a valid possibility. Would it be worth it? Probably no. I wouldn't bar the possibility completely. Remember that Zeon was a Duchy or Principality. That's very medieval. There was the power hungry Zab...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk II
not too many NTs around. Didn't Zanscare have about 10,000 NTs powering the Angel Halo? Maybe, but they were civilians, not combatants breaking havoc in custom high performance mobile suits. At this late in UC, Newtypes are no longer a military asset as they were in the two decades after the OYW.

Re: Psychoframes and Gundam Pixie Dust
@HalfDemonInuyasha Remember that full body psycoframes were the new thing on UC 96; Sazabi and the Nu only had psycoframes in their cockpits. I suppose that the resonance effect is not based on the size of the objets rather than the mere existance of them. That why Chan's T piece was able to communi...

Re: asking about ZII
If AUEG needed a monster MS to face the enemy prototypes, they should have rolled the S Gundam, Which is the freakest MS in UC. Seriously, until the FA upgrade the ZZ was too fragile for such an important role. The ZII on the other hand, were something that was fitting for the EFSF as a mass product...

Re: GP03 question
The Dendrobium came about as you can't make a traditional Gundam in the MA form (The Psyco Gundam were just huge MS IMO). By far it is one of the weirdest concepts in Gundam design, but surely can you really make a UC Gundam MS that effective in fleet battles? I have my doubts that the Stamen was ma...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk I
I must have missed it. When did Gilboa engage the ECOAS type? Doesn't seem that significant anyway. Is the writeup a comment on the character of ECOAS soldiers or perhaps that the ECOAS Jegan is an AI? It is about the ECOAS soldiers. No mayor UC story features artificial intelligence units -just so...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk I
I agree that NT-D doesn't stand for NewType Destroyer. Full Frontal, of all people, is unable to articulate an unbiases opinion on the subject. However, this episode let me to believe that unless the pilot is able to tame the beast, the Unicorn is a wild animal that will impose its will on the battl...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk I
I'm really confused on the Unicorn Gundam after seen Episode 3. After seening the fight against NZ-666 (can't spell it sorry) and the dialogue from Full Frontal, I got the impression that the unit serves two purposes: firstmost and as part of the UC Project, it is the Newtype Destroyer; at the same ...

Re: The Official SRW OG: The Inspector Thread Mk II
This was no final Episode. This was an EPIC HURRACANE of HITTSATSUs. Everything that wasn't used to this point was thrown at us. Beowolf had to make more enemy mechas just to suck-up attacks LOL! Seriously, I ran out of breath after Zankantou Tatsumaki. Cosmo Nova was wonderful too. Obari is truly ...

"Practical Design" Doctor Radome? ok...Kuruni wrote:The early upgrade plan was proposed by Kyosuke, which is extremely unbalance (Arado comment that it isn't "take a risk" but and outright suicide). Marion pretty much refine it into practical design.

Re: Z Design Competition
Thanks reeoyuy. I suppose this was Fujita's early entry right? It is very similar to the final Z Gundam. I personally prefer the wing triangular configuration to the current layout.
@ Zerosystem: That surely is a Nagano design. Very similar to L-Gaim. I love the rifle concept.

Z Design Competition
I was reading in Wikipedia that during the production of Z Gundam, several mecha designers made propositions for the titular MS. I was wondering if somebody had any pictures of those. I know for certain that Nagano's proposition was made as a resin kit known as Hyper Zeta Gundam, but until today I d...

Re: The Official SRW OG: The Inspector Thread Mk II
In SRW3 and OG Gaiden, if you have Shu launched during the battle with Wendolo/Scirocco/Dark Brain, it unlocks the Ragnarok secret stage where Shu turns on you and Neo Granzon is the true final boss. Here in Inspector, Shu is launched for the final battle. But like I said, they're probably not goin...

Well, we still have to confirm that the Gurbein is plugging its generator to the runner. Otherwise it would be riding the AM Runner like the R-Gun did.Dark Duel wrote:Hey, if R-Gun Powered could do it, why not Guarbein? It makes MORE sense than R-Gun doing it, actually.

NOW THIS IS SUPER ROBOT WARS Finally Masaki is allowed to use Cyflash -by Shu suggestion no less! It was just me or the Cybuster seemed timid when facing the Dykasteios hentai blades? Re: The Official SRW OG: The Inspector Thread Mk II
As far as I'm concerned, 24 was a disaster. It was a wholesale slaughter of the inspectors, which didn't make something memorable as to have the series named after them. Since I'm an SRX fan, I didn't having the team as mirror breakers. I guess this is ATX time for the finisher. On the positive side...

How come nobody has commented Kyosuke's new ride: Alt Eisen Riese? That thing is a freaking monster. It fight like a Super Robot -nothing like the Real type Gespents Type III it was based- The horn is a map attack by itself!! I really liked the extended winglets at the sides, never seen then in acti...
