Gundam Colors are lacqure paints. you need to get some Mr. Thinner to paint with them. I have several Gundam Color sets coming soon, and I hope there aren't really small (very little paint) in some of them, but we'll see. Would you recommend air-brushing these paints on a MG model, or hand-painting...

I want to get as close to this as possible: http://dalong.net/review/hg/hsp2/hsp2_p.htm I have that model. Its the special edition HGUC of Char's Zeong they had at the Gundam Musuem a couple of years back. Its molded in darker colors then you see in Char's OYW Suits but it is still nice I think. In...

What colors to use for "Char's Zeong"?
I plan to buy the Master Grade MSN-02 Zeong model, and then paint it as "Char's Zeong." I want to paint it in the same scheme that Char uses during the One Year War for his other mobile suits (so the Pinkish-Red/Maroon/Black, not the post-OYW Dark-Red/Black scheme he starts to use). Howeve...

List of Gunpla Master Grade Models
Well, after looking for a list of Gunpla Master Grades and asking around, I found that there wasn't a good list out there. The closest I came was the list on Dalong.net, however it didn't seem to match up with what Bandai considered to be the model numbers (seeing as Dalong.net is missing some model...

The First Gunpla? (translation: teh 1sted Gunplaa EVAR!)
According to the English Gunpla website ( link ), the first Gunpla was an RX-78 Gundam 1/144. However, it's hard to get confirmation on which exact model this is. After a little bit of research, I believe that I have found the "first Gunpla model." teh 1sted Gunplaa EVAR! I was wondering i...

I don't know if he ever said the episode wouldn't be released in Japan. If he did, he either changed his mind or the decision was overridden by Bandai, because episode 15 is indeed on the box set. Thanks for clearing that up. It could just be my horrible memory blurring facts. :P However, all that ...

As a question that related to the first topic, do the DVDs in the box set contain episode 15? As I remember, Tomino didn't want episode 15 to ever be released in the States as it was sub-par. And if I recall (a scary phrase for me to be using), he said he'd omit the episode if the series was ever re...

I know, but I was trying to at least provide an in-universe explanation. I understand that. And please don't feel as though my previous statements are an attack on what you're trying to say. This is only my opinion. I'm just stating that Gundam is a term that becomes very loose in Universal Century...

The Universal Century definition of a Gundam is a testbed of advanced features that are to see if they are worth researching enough to make said features inexpensive enough and practical enough for grunts to use. Usually said features are indeed able to put a Gundam ahead of the pack, such as the R...

Gundam Fanfic: The Best of the Best
I used to read several Gundam fanfics a while ago, but haven't read any for about four years. Well, now I'm bored. So, here's the question: Which Gundam fanfics are the best of the best? Just the absolute "if you read Gundam fanfics, you HAVE to read these." I remember a couple, but not su...

In the future a request like this would go in this thread instead of getting its own new one. The second part you are looking for is part of the MS Era series of pics . 16 and 17 to be exact. As Red just showed you before I finished this post. Sorry, looked over that thread as I was looking in Anim...

Help finding two Gundam images ("Fixed" Turn A, Fi
I am looking for two random images that I can't seem to find anymore. I had asked these questions way-back-when at Gundam.com and got pictures; though now they seem impossible to find. My memory is horrible with these things, but this is what I remember from them: 1) There is an image of the Turn A ...

This is the list I have come up with now. I have taken some away, and added some. The ones that have a * mean they are the ones I deem to be story important or just well developed overall (from what I can tell). MANGA *Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin *Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: The Blue Destiny *...

Which Gundam Manga Are Worth Reading?
I am going back and watching all of the Gundam series again (and some for the first time)...well, because I can. Afterwards, I plan to try and find the manga to go through and read. Problem is, there a bazillion of them. So, what I'm asking is what are the Gundam manga that are worth reading? Like, ...
