Re: The Official Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE Thread Mk I
Justice Knight is too much of a joke Maybe Wadom has some hidden mode not shown yet? Hope Re:RISE won't go down to "the world is gonna be destroyed" plot again. The previous GBD would be better for me if it stayed just fun + competition online game route...

Re: Grypts Conflict - Titans MS Comparative Performance
Dom [not Rickdom] and its variants are still a pretty good MS on Earth, still being able to crush newer grunt MSs [not pilot by major charactors] decades later.
Asshimar is One MS from Z/ZZ era that get developed further to Anksha. IIRC in AOZ Hyzenthlay II is an attempt to duplicate Gabthley.

Re: Hypothetical OYW-era MS preference for CCA-era Char
The latest incarnation of Gelgoog Jaeger figure, Robot spirits ver. anime, still has no beam saber in its arsenal. HGUC Shin Matsunaga version has 2 beam sabers that seems to be taken from old HGUC Gelgoog Marine [whole saber mold in one piece]. Has it ever been shown where the beam saber is stored ...

Re: Hypothetical OYW-era MS preference for CCA-era Char
Based on its full performance shown by Mallet against G05 and Gelgoog, with its magnet coating joints and resulting agility Act Zaku is quite terrifying with its limiter removed (which Char is likely to do). It would be a better MS to fight Gundam than Zeong that Char cannot really capitalized on it...

Re: Silver Bullet Suppressor's Arm Swapping
6 rocket punches  I guess sinced Silver Bullet seems to be mass-produced to some degree, getting spare arms from the avaliable stockpile would be easier and more economical than making a new and very pricey Unicorn-level arm and its own spare parts. Delta Plus's arm is broken with just one ...

I like OO Sky much more than Build burning though. And I am anxious that HG GP-Rasetsu is not announced yet; it's my favorite design.

Rx-78-4 the G04 Gundam has handheld beam mega launcher and mini reactor to run it equipped on its side waist armor. IIRC In the manga it is very powerful whipping out several ships at once, but in one scenario [it is based on video game] the reactor overload and explode, destroying the Gundam and ki...

Re: Why do the bad guys usually have more different models than the good guys?
The GM from MSG won't be able to move its legs upwards without rubber metal for its box-shaped waist armor [which all MS in MSG seem to be equipped with for all their impossible movements if really fix on the design eg. Gundam kicking Rickdom's head], cannot bent its elbow, has no thrusters anywhere...

Re: Why do the bad guys usually have more different models than the good guys?
In animation Rick Dom and Rick Dom II often fly forward using back thrusters with body at upward angle diagonally, not with body lying down superman-style. Their back thrusters point upward away from the body and skirt. It is not about one single direction, it is about the range of motion. The adva...

Re: Why do the bad guys usually have more different models than the good guys?
The degree of movement for model/toy depends heavily on whoever design it. For example this old MIA ver2 Rickdom has mobility that put MG to shame http://sranngurenn.blog70.fc2.com/blog-entry-3820.html If MG is used for comparison foot and leg mobility of the 1st ver of GM and Rickdom are both rathe...

Perhaps Meijin modified his zaku to have more retro look compared to the heavily detailed HG Origin version it is based on? Lots of Sanding away + putty works

Re: Why do the bad guys usually have more different models than the good guys?
Mahq lists the 4 thrusters [that should be the foot thrusters] of GM with 1,870 kg/pc so the total would be just 7,480 kg combined, far less thrust than just one of the two backpack thrusters at 24,000 kg /pc. Rickdom and Gelgoog have thrusters on their feet too according to MG models [at least 3 pe...

GM main thrusters should be its backpack?

Re: Which series has "cornerstone" mecha designs?
The Bronze tribe in the anime Heroic Age is insect-type being that can shoot beam, fight in space and have hives and can warp. For the big size and weirdness the old manga Maps by Hasegawa Yuichi has the main enemy tribe as a flying head the size of the planet with psychic power.

Re: RCX-76 Guncannon: Why did it suck so bad?
From the ova Guncannon seems to be slow for turning, dashing, and dodging. It takes too long to turn around and fire back or block incoming Zaku bazooka round, eventhough the pilot knows it is coming his way. It is also slow in moving away from the explosion. The Zaku [with capable pilots such as th...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I
Maybe if EF deploys Guncannons further away perhaps so they can fire their main cannons out of Zaku's range? Guncannons seemed to be deployed too close to the attack range of zakus' machine guns [and also close enough for zakus to rush in closing the gap]. At mid to close range Zakus are much faster...
