Strike Rouge Phoenix
Apparently bandai needs to release a new strike variant with Gundam SEED: Destiny HD. This has lead to the creation of the strike rouge phoenix. The strike rouge gets a new pack in the form of the phoenix striker. Images of the strike rouge phoenix can be found below. Strike Rouge Phoenix This seems...

Re: Gundam Astray Noir
I think its said in VS Astray that the red frame had become so popular, that the junk guild started selling appearance kits to make the Rayasta look like the red frame. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if this suit its self was just a rayasta with an appearance kit, and Actaeon just modified a rayas...

Re: CGUE with Dragoons
It's most likely looks that way. The Cque deep arms from the red frame short is said to be a test bed suit used to develop ms sized beam weapons based on the stolen data from the stolen GAT-X suits. The Cque deep arms beam cannons according to the animation are super high energy anti-aircraft guns w...

Re: Weapons Weight
Hm that's an interesting idea you have there bryant. The question though is all the weapons weight universal for instance a Gundam MK. II Beam saber weighing the same as the RX-72 Beam saber, or even the GM Beam saber being the same weight as the RX-72's beam saber ? I decided to start small with th...

Weapons Weight
I was doing some pacing in my room trying to figure something out, when a brainstorm idea hit me. For the most part we don't know how much any given weapon an ms uses weighs. For the most part this is due to us not officially being given a weapons weight. This is where I had that brainstorm I mentio...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Mecha Thread Mk III
I thought that the Sinanju Stein had a partial psychoframe or something along those lines. Not a full one, but I thought it was just overall used to test general features of the Unicorn. Again though, I don't recall where I read that and so that might be unreliable. This is coming directly from Gun...

Re: Why did Titans get Marasai and not Nemo?
I'm going to be pulling most of this from my memory, so bare with me. I believe the Nemo back story is as follows. During the course of the gryps conflict the A.E.U.G was unhappy with the performance of the GM II. At the time the GM II, Hizack and Galbady Beta all have similar performances. The A.E....

Re: Multiplying Divisions with Zeon
I'm not sure if this helps answer any questions in this topic, but I figured that these scans I found might help. The Scans come from Another Century Chronicle Vol.1 One Year War U.C. 0079-0080. Most of these scans are not translated, so you'll need some one who can translate. I'm also unsure of how...

Re: Minovsky Particles and Detection Distance
Now that I've read through most of the post an interesting idea has come to my mind. Given that over times minovsky particle beams will fall apart as it is. I guess a better phrase would be lose particles. Considering a minovksy particle is repulsive to a Mega particulate beam. Would it be safe to s...

Re: Minovsky Particles and Detection Distance
The notion that Minovsky particles actually deflect beams sounds vaguely plausible, but I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned in the anime or in any of the Japanese publications. Do you have a source for this, or are you just speculating? As far as I know, the main limiting factor with Gundam b...

Re: Minovsky Particles and Detection Distance
Also unclear, but the second volume of the "Gundam Historica" book series includes a chart that purports to show how the particle density decreases with time and distance. The chart's a little complex - maybe I'll scan it for you in a bit - but it shows three density lines, one 20 minutes...

Minovsky Particles and Detection Distance
I'm a little bit confused on the properties of minovsky particles. Well rather I'm confuesed on one aspect of minovsky particles. For the most part I know the spreading of minovsky particles is more of an electronic countermeasure tactic, since it jams a large range of things. I'm going to number li...

Re: Known MSV-R so far
Actually KVLTIST, I think that you may be referring to the "removal mace" and not the "mine rod". If so, as silly as it is, the images do match up and you're probably correct. It's strange to think that such a weapon existed in reality though. How would the attacker escape the e...

Re: Designing a mobile suit for Guerrilla warfare.
Well the kampfer is a viable suit despite it being noted as a fuel hog. This is mostly because as was stated before it can be taken apart and put together in the field. That would at least account for an easier time with maintenance, since it was meant to be put together by everyday soldiers. Anothe...

Designing a mobile suit for Guerrilla warfare.
I was going through the gundam archives at gundam info, was watching there short video on the Den'an Gei when something caught my attention. The Den'an Gei was built specifically for the purpose of guerrilla warfare. This got me wondering how is it built for this type of combat, as by first glance a...

Re: Original Proposal for the YMS-15 Gyan Before M'Quve
Considering the information about the Royal Guard lance and the connection to the shield used by those Rick Doms, I think the Gazu-L and Gazu-R are actually the best indication of what the Gyan was intended to be - basically general purpose. M'quve probably requested the customized beam saber (simi...

Re: Return to the Valley of the Skirt Thrusters
This is just a question on my part, but how can you tell a main thruster from a vernier thruster/apogee motor ? Couldn't a vernier be the same size as a regular thruster. For instance the thrusters in the GM Kai rear skirt armor, are those main thrusters or verniers ? For instance I believe the GM h...

Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Anime Thread Mk V
Just to put a cap on this, almost any time that you hear Gundam fans talking about how something might be removed from continuity, they're always full of crap. When the Zeta movies were created, this stupid belief arose that ZZ had been removed from continuity. Sunrise never said anything of the so...

Re: Bleach is offically ending!
That's all find and dandy, but how do we know that Ichigo still has his hollow abilities. Fullbringer powers are brought about by lingering energy from hollows left in a surviving victim. This explains both Chad and Orhime's full bringers, since they both were attacked and survived hollow attacks. I...

Re: Gundam SEED HD Remaster airs Winter 2011
Its most likely they were using the Launcher strike for long range support, since with the Buster they could probably do this rather effectively. The Perfect Strike can also provide long range support as needed. Another reason for the perfect strike not being used in space is either its power consu...
