Re: The Official Gundam Unicorn Re: 0096 Anime Thread Mk I
Sorry to disappoitnt you, guys, but the Sinanju Stein / Phenex footage you're referring to is actually a short animation (basically devoid of a true plot) projected on the Wall-G at Gundam Front Tokyo, titled Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn: A Phantom World...

Nope.
MAHQ's profile substantially tells everything we know on The Gun Magna, and shows its most complete
depiction.

Re: New Gundam Ace manga: Crossbone Gundam Dust
Good job, as usual, Deacon! But why, concerning Ash King's nickname you're saying ash really doesn't do anything As far as I can tell, the kanji 灰 means exactly "ash" (in the sense of fire remains), so in my humble iopinion "The Undying Ash" would work fine, also because this see...

Re: Reappearings of UC main characters?
Well, if you accept the depiction of a completely non-ufficial manga (namely Moon Crisis, by Masafumi Matussura), in U.C. 0099 Kamille is a doctor, and he's still together with Fa.

Re: M72 Lakota jeep
Whether or not are intended to be the same model (and actually judging from their aspect one should recognize the existence of at least three main models of "Lakota-like" jeep), most of the appearances mentioned in the first part of Erisie's post can be confirmed. More in particular, the v...

Re: What became of MIP after the OYW?
Well, surely it's not an "official" source, but the recent Yoshihiro Sono manga Mobile Suit Acguy MSM-04 is settled in U.C. 0086 and apparently shows the M.I.P. still existing as a fairly autonomous company within Side 3.

Re: Information On Zeon's Aerial Battleship "King Of Dragon"
As far as I can ascertain, the linked MAHQ profile tells everything is known on King of Dragon . Concerning the image, here you are a scan from the May 1990 issue of Comic BomBom (i.e the original source for this MSV90 feature): http://img244.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=702620930_king_of_dragon_122...

Re: MS Catalog
List for all MS that appeared in Build Fighters A and D, relevant to this topic This is pretty interesting, although I admit that some of the original entries for Build Fighters A / D (i-e. the ones on the longest part of the right column) sound quite obscure. In particular, I'm referring to: - Wal...

Re: [Rumors & News] - Gundam Thunderbolt Anime Incoming?
Well, if I read correctly, on the only available page of http://gundam-tb.net/ they're explicitely mentioning an anime adaptation for Thudnerbolt , so it seems yours is more than just a speculation! Nice catch, Deacon 8) As a side note, way back when they released volume 1 there was a kind of short ...

Re: Dom Evolution?
Yes, I noticed that particular retcon too! I'm not sure this can be considered a true retcon of "Mayfly of Space 2", since it's known that some previous sources (e.g. the 0083 novelization, the book The Gundam Chronicles and the card/videogame Gundam Card Builder 0083 ) already identified...

Re: YMS-07A-0 Prototype Gouf
we know there's a second unit from MSV-D with prototype versions of the 75mm machine gun and the heat rod, yet still lacking the leg jet thrusters of the MS-07B, makes it likely for it to be something like YMS-07A-1, therefore still fitting in the Gouf's development line. According to the Hajime Ka...

Re: MS Catalog
Still speaking of Neo Gundam's core fighter, some time ago I've found an image where it's labeled as FF-XFN1; unfortunately, I don't know where this picture might come from... maybe a book similar to The Encyclopedia of Gundam, but I'm not sure.

IIRC, these MSV posters are supposed to be official artworks, aren't they? Well, considering that they're drawn by Kunio Okawara for Gundam Ace I would say that at least these should be counted among the main reference sources  By the way, the transliterations provided by such posters are usu...

Re: Bishop Etymology?
I'm not sure whether it's a reference to the chess piece or not, but the codename "Bishop" for the MS-06Z and / or the entire project to which this MS belongs is around at least since 1987, as it was surely mentioned on the Gashapon Senshi seal MSV-17 (released on July 1987, if I'm not wro...

Re: Carrying Capacities in UC
Admitting that the ship in the Mobile Suit Gundam intro animation is actually intended to represent a Valkyrie class (an event which - if confirmed - would make my quite glad), I don't recall to have ever read references to it in the various MS Igloo material. Therefore, a possible relation with the...

Re: Carrying Capacities in UC
AFAIK there is not other version of the Komusai depicted in MS Igloo (although I haven't checked the manga). I've just checked more carefully my copy of the Ship & Aerospace Plane Encyclopedia 2105 , as well as other sources (e.g. MS Igloo Graphic File ) and they substantially say that differen...

Re: Carrying Capacities in UC
If I recall correctly, volumes 2 and 3 of The Origin manga shown a larger version of Komusai (named W-Com [W・コム]) which is said to be specifically designed to carry mobile suits, as if the standard one - at least in Yasuhiko's continuity - would lack such ability.... Again if I'm not wrong, the Ship...

Re: MS Catalog
As for the model numbers of Riku Tryon, Umi Tryon and Sora Tryon, was it a product of my faulty memory or does the animation indicates them as TRY-M1, TRY-M2 and TRY-M3?
