Their preferred reading is apparently "Full Cross"?

Re: F89 Gundam F89 Notes
Cross Born. It's Cross Born Dust. It's no longer Crossbone on account that it has nothing to do with them anymore. Let's clear up that misconception The change of title isn't reflected in the Japanese wiki I referenced for said title... it still has it as 機動戦士クロスボーン・ガンダム DUST. The Japanese title ob...

Re: F89 Gundam F89 Notes
Oh, the team I've recruited for the new Macross website I'm launching later this year is experimenting with an OCR-based "digital highlighter" to automatically transcribe the text from the publications we're working on into our cloud-based collaboration suite so we can divvy up large publ...

The mechanical blurb is referring to resupplying the Anchor, the titular mobile suit from Cross Born Dust.

Re: How do you envision PLANT?
The 40th anniversary announcement quoted some to be alternate, like Origin and TB. Since it was only a brief scene in a video, and most of the attention is of course NT and Hathaway, people don't really pay attention to the added alternate UC sign that much. Though I also can't really find the pict...

Re: How do you envision PLANT?
Anyway, Thunderbolt is not canon. Officials now list it as alternate UC. I missed that little detail. Thank goodness for that... Blunderbolt is a sh*t-awful edgelord version of Gundam . Even AU status is too good for it, IMO, but I'll take what I can get. He needs to cite where that tidbit came fro...

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Anime Thread Mk I
The problem is the fact that Tokyosaurus provided no source for the clip so I'm calling BS on the claim. It was probabaly a mistranslation like the Thunderbolt interview. Wasn’t the time manipulation ability of Unicorn confirmed in the Narrative novelization translation by Zeonic though? I only ski...

Re: The Official Gundam Narrative Anime Thread Mk I
From seeing the 24 ep preview of Narrative, rather than time travel, the context was that the generators of the mobile suit reactors hit by the Unicorn's psycho waves messed up the internal parts by pushing the parts apart. The video shows that the generator parts came apart. This time travel line ...

You could also cite what is wrong instead of claiming everything as being "wildly inaccurate" like a douche. That doesn't exactly fix a problem or help attempt to alleviate it. Point to some more credible sources if you're aware that they're so grossly inaccurate and I'm sure information ...

Re: Add other Mecha's on MAHQ?
I'd like to see 'em go back and fix some of their more wildly inaccurate coverage before they focus on adding more shows... especially MOSPEADA . 90% of the info they have isn't even from the show, it's from the old Robotech RPG. You could also cite what is wrong instead of claiming everything as b...

Re: Lewis Halberton or Duane Halberton?
His name is writen in katakana as デュエイン ・ハルバートン, as seen in SeeD HD Remaster episode 12's credit . Unless his name was changed between the first run and HD Remaster, I cannot see how that can be read as Lewis. Although it's also possible that it's a case of dub name change, it's equally possible th...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Anime Thread Mk I
It looks like it's just the name of it. They classify it as a large transport ship. I'm hoping there will be info released in the booklet that comes with the Blu-ray release. Both this and the shuttle that M'Quve went down to Earth on are mentioned in Katoki's latest mecha files.

For those wondering, the mysterious box-like ship that appeared in the first Gundam series as well as in the last episode of the Origin has been identified. It is known as the "Yap", a large transport ship.

I think it's usually call 八つ手ビームサーベル. This thing . You literally typed the same word (albeit with hiragana vs katakana). Not that it matters in terms of pronunciation but the way I wrote it is from the book. I don't believe the javelin is the correct terminology for this unless they changed it in s...

Re: MS Catalog
Dredging this up against my better judgement but I figured it's easier than a new topic. In working on the V Gundam MSV material, there is a beam saber mentioned for the Victory Gundam that is supposedly stored in the armory on Hiland called the 八ッ手ビームサーベル. I haven't seen Victory in well over a deca...

I think they are going to write in a second Sinanju Stein which came in the container as a reserve unit along with Full Frontal's one and the zeon styled conversion kit. Note the new sleeve markings, longer and rounder shield tip, and the underside of the rifle resembling the Sinanju rifle plus baz...

Re: The Official Gundam The Origin Mecha Thread Mk I
Today's plot armor question from the 15 minute preview of the latest episode: Exactly how does Revil's ship survive blasts from the Musai that close when a Magellan can blow a Musai out of the sky from kilometers away? I have a feeling that the "beam blasts are weaker when they're fired that cl...
