Re: I have got a strange feeling about the EFSF's budget on weapon development
So, we've discussed how much does an MS cost before in this forum. Reading through that old threat suddenly gave me a strange thought - that the EFSF suffers from a chronic case of overbudgeting when it comes to weapon development. How many prototypes and limited-production MS did the EFSF (plus th...

Click here and scroll down to "Super Prototype" to see Jehuty as among them. Click here, click on the video game section, and scroll down to Zone of the Enders to see Jehuty listed as among the super prototypes. Both EarlOfSandvich and DarkHunter -- two members of TV Tropes -- declared th...

Re: The Official Gundam Twilight AXIS Mecha Thread Mk I
On the official Youtube release, at 2:26 on the video, you see what seems to be a reflection of a purple Jegan holding some manner of weird beam weapon that I'm totally unfamiliar with. Anyone have any clue as to what that thing is holding? According to this page from the Premium Bandai website, th...

Re: The obsoletion of MS-manned gun emplacements
The gun platforms were more to provide heavy battleship like beam cannons to early UC MS mainly due to there own internal reactors being unable to power them so a platform base was needed to house the Guns reactor and to move the gun. the Mega Rider was more of an evolution of the Mega Bazooka Launc...

during that final battle the Epyon system was hooked to the MD control comupter converting them from robots acting on a scripted combat system to something like UC era Bits and the units introduced in Gundam X the Bit Mobile Suits.

Re: GN Drive Tau particle colors?
it's how the GN-T drives are calibrated the Red particles are drives optimized for Beam weapons and are harmful to humans the later drives fixed this and had orange particles. the particles on the Alvaaron/ Alvatore were gold because of cosmetics Alejandro Corner really liked gold.

Re: How can OZ mass-produce Virgos with Gundanium Alloy?
technically OZ-02MD Virgo was an combination of the two specialized OZ-13MSX units as an simplified production unit. Vayeate tested the beam cannon while Mercurius tested the Planet Defensors. the OS-13MSX being an upgraded version of the OX-00MS body frame also used for the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon.

Wing: the Wing zero was the Tech demostrater and the 5 other units are one off customs based on that data The Wing zero was an enhanced version of the earlier OZ Tech demo unit Tallgeese the prototype of the Leo. Re: What were the Gundams from Wing, 00, and IBO?
the GN-000 0 Gundam was more of a technology demonstrator for the GN drive tech being basically a bare bones unit with one saber and a beam rifle to test out basic equiptment to see if it was functional. the later GNY series was to test specialized units before the final models. the 0 gundam was bas...

the transformation function was switched from space fighter to a smaller artillery emplacement mode. also other than the name and paint job it's really just a earth use version of the Methuss it's model code being MSA-005K Hayato named the unit after his Guncannon and gave it the red paint job . the...

it had the system installed as the Destiny was originally planned as the Impluse's version of the P202QX Integrated Weapons Striker Pack. it became a seprate unit because the Voiture Lumiere system depleted the battery faster causeing it to become an new suit.

Re: The date when the Zsaa, the Dreissen, the Capule, and the Galluss first started development?
It dos't help that the HyGogg was desgined in the production time line until after CCA was produced and it wasent there to be based on when the Axis units were being drawn up. so we have an unit that untill 0080 came out would have been based just on the Gogg with an added unit between the two addin...

Re: The date when the Zsaa, the Dreissen, the Capule, and the Galluss first started development?
The Capule didn't get it's old Zeon ms base model until 0080 came out and added one one to the late OYW era. With the MSM-03C Hygogg a revised version of the MSM-03 Gogg. AMX-101 Galluss-J barrows concepts from the MS-07 Gouf so Axis wasn't starting from scrach they took old MS models from Zeon and ...

AMX-107 Bawoo I remember reading where was built using stolen ZZ Gundam project data brought over by defecting AE techs to Axis. The bulk of the Axis MS lines are either updated versions of older Zeon units built with modern tech or reuse tech concepts from AEUG or Titans MS data. Ironically this m...

Re: The date when the Zsaa, the Dreissen, the Capule, and the Galluss first started development?
the Capule and the Dreissen had the advantage of being just updated versions of older Zeon models the MSM-03C Hygogg and the MS-09R-2 Rick Dom II respectively. the AMX-101 Galluss-J takes some of it's design from the MS-07 Gouf most of Neo-zeon's early ms works were updated units from Zeon's older m...

The GP series IIRC were developed at Von Braun except the GP03, which was developed at La Vie en Rose . MInd you I haven't watched 0083 in years so I'm going off memory. That's what i thought which I think gives further credence to the idea of Luna II being a major MS production site for the federa...

Ah, thank you for the info, so the Galbady B was a Luna II made unit, my bad. Because of the other units being made at Pezun I thought it also would've been part of it. Kind of weird that a Anaheim made Hizack would have a recon model made at Luna II... But that model number system doesn't fully ma...

Re: OYW ms development
I got my info from here http://www.angelfire.com/zine/trd/etc/Gundam_Project_Mobile_Suit_Model_Numbers.htm In Zeta Gundam and ZZ Gundam - circa UC 0087 to UC 0089 - the Federal Forces briefly adopt a different model number scheme. In this system, the first two digits of the model number indicate whe...
